What’s This TV Show About?
An ABC reality TV show competition The Great American Baking Show is a US adaptation of The Great British Bake Off. Formerly known as The Great Holiday Baking Show, the series features bakers from around the country going head to head in holiday-themed challenges and eliminations, with the goal of being crowned “America’s Best Amateur Baker.” Anthony Adams returns alongside new co-host, the Spice Girls’ Emma Bunton. Meanwhile, pastry chef Sherry Yard joins returnee Paul Hollywood on the judges’ panel.
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of The Great American Baking Show averaged a 0.68 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.44 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 16% in the demo and down by 7% in viewership. Find out how The Great American Baking Show stacks up against other ABC TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will ABC cancels or renews the show for season five? Though the ratings are small, the series is cheap to produce so, I suspect it will get a renewal. Also, this year the network has added the subtitle, “Holiday Edition,” which seems to suggest they’ll be rolling out a non-holiday edition during the year.
