What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Hell’s Kitchen is a reality TV cooking competition series. Under the watchful eyes of the short-tempered, foul-mouth Head Chef Gordon Ramsay, red and blue teams of aspiring chefs compete in challenges and provide dinner service. At the end of each episode, a contestant is eliminated. When only a handful are left, the teams are combined and each contestant competes as an individual. In the season finale, the prevailing chef wins a cash prize of $250,000 and a head or executive chef job at a predetermined restaurant. Sous Chefs Aaron Mitrano and Andi Van Willigan-Cutspec assist Ramsay and monitor the teams. Longtime Ramsay employee Jean-Philippe Susilovic serves as Maître d’hôtel. Jason Thompson narrates the show.

Telly’s Take
Since Hell’s Kitchen is already renewed through season 18, it is safe for now. However, if the ratings continue on this downward trajectory, eventually, FOX will cancel it. After all, we’re talking about the network that cancelled former ratings juggernaut American Idol. I’ll keep an eye on the ratings for the upcoming installments and let you know when it’s time to start circling.

What do you think? Will the Hell’s Kitchen TV show end after season 18, or be renewed for a 19th season? How would you feel if FOX cancelled this TV show, instead?
I really enjoy Hell’s Kitchen. I am 77 years old, the young chefs are very impressive. Gordon Ramsey is very enjoyable. His language is not offensive to me, I have said similar expletives when cooking a meal for 100 people at the Elks Lodge. Get a life people, it goes with the territory.
Guys look at google and search Hell’s Kitchen seasons and the first site you click says season 17 episode one will be premiering September 29.

If they move airing to either Netflix or Amazon, I would watch it all the time.
