Welcome to the Red Zone. The Incorporated TV show has been cancelled by Syfy after just one season. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck executive produced the futuristic Syfy drama. According to Deadline, Dennis Haysbert has already booked a new role in the Reverie TV series pilot for NBC.
The sci-fi series takes place in the year 2074, in a world where corporations have unlimited power. and the haves and the have-nots live in two starkly different environments. Incorporated centers on Ben Larson (Sean Teale), a young executive for Spiga Biotech which is the world’s largest corporation. The rest of the Syfy cast includes Allison Miller, Eddie Ramos, Haysbert, David Hewlett, Ian Tracey, and Julia Ormond.
Incorporated Cancelled by Syfy; No Season Two
The first season of Incorporated averaged a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 493,000 viewers. Out of the 15 Syfy TV shows we’re currently tracking, it ranks in ninth place when we sort the ratings by the 18-49 demo, and 12th in terms of total audience size. Keeping that in mind, the cancellation does not come as much of a surprise.
What do you think? Did you watch the first season of Incorporated? Did you want Syfy to renew this TV show for a second season? Sound off in the comments.
Needs to be renewed. The storyline isnt even finished!!!
Incorporated was a great show.
There are so many stupid shows that have 5-6 season’s .. I’m sad it won’t be returning. I think it just need better publicity and marketing.
I really liked incorporated. I’m sad it will be cancelled
Incorporated was a very exciting show. It is one of only three current tv shows I watch. I guess I am down to two shows now. I am disappointed that the show will not be given a chance at a second season. I doubt anyone lost money during production.
What!!…………..I’m so sad now…. I really liked the show and was waiting so long for season 2
Please bring this series back. I cannot understand why they renew so many that are not even half as entertaining as this show.
I just finished the first season, show is really interesting, and it has potential. Too bad they cancelled it.
NNOOOOO!!!! This show was so clever and deep, I just finished the first season. They need to bring it back!
I don’t even watch TV, but dang, i stumbled upon this show by accident and i watched every episode as soon as it came out. Seriously, why would you cancel this show? Such a good program.
Never even had a chance to view this series as SyFy continues to ignore “chord cutters”. Science Fiction fans are more likely than traditional viewers to embrace streaming tech over cable. As a result SyFy is undercutting their own core viewing demographic by refusing to acknowledge reality, ditch the old cable driven business model and start reaching the audiences loyal to these types of programs. These are the viewers who keep franchises alive decade after decade. Star Trek anyone? SyFy channel is being stupid.
very disappointed to hear about cancellation. Loved it, so insightful and provocative. The look into the future was rightfully uncomfortable but I guess intelligent programming is too much to hope for. Was looking forward to seeing more of the world of “spiga”. Wish we had been given a choice, guess that part of “spiga” is already here.
I did watch the first series but by coincidence. Absolutely awesome show and unbelievable they canned it after 1 series. Maybe this is because syfy just did not promote it enough. I certainly did not hear about it until by coincidence. Very strange they would make the decision to can it based on low viewership that’s probably due to a lack of promotion. A real shame. One of a great forward thinking futuristic drama.
I LOVED THE SHOW!! I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY BS REALITY TV SHOWS WIN OVER ANY SHOW THAT IS BRILLIANT! THE SHOW MADE SENSE. THE SHOW HAD ME WANTING MORE AND I COULDNT WAIT TO SEE THE NEXT ONE!! BRING IT BACK PLEASE!!
It’s down to costs. reality shows are incredibly cheap to make, while real science fiction (or period shows) are the most expensive. These higher costs require higher viewing numbers, which is why even good science fiction with loyal audiences get cancelled.
Go to Netflix tv isn’t the same anymore they cancel all the great shows after one season .
absolutely loved this show. please, please bring it back. cannot understand why it was cancelled
