What’s This TV Show About?
An ABC sitcom, The Kids Are Alright stars Michael Cudlitz, Mary McCormack, Sam Straley, Caleb Foote, Sawyer Barth, Christopher Paul Richards, Jack Gore, Andy Walken, and Santino Barnard. The 1970s-period comedy centers on the Clearys, an Irish-Catholic family living on the outskirts of Los Angeles. Since its the ’70s, Peggy (McCormack) and Mike (Cudlitz) are raising their kids with a lack of supervision which might stun today’s parents, and now their eldest son wants to quit the seminary to go “save the world.” The times they are a-changing, and the Cleary family is not immune to the turbulence around them.

I love this show! Btw, why are the demographics 18-49? Do the TV “powers that be” think people 50+ don’t watch TV and our opinions don’t matter?
Absolutely one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time. I watch it weekly and hope it is renewed over and over again!
Please bring this show back! It is by far my favorite new show and now my wife is really enjoying it as well. I am surprised it is on the bubble as it is so entertaining.
I think The Kids Are Alright should definitely be renewed. We watch every week and believe it’s one of the best comedies on TV. It’s a show the whole family can watch no matter the kid’s age. There aren’t many shows without cursing, sex or violence. This is refreshing. The police, medical and law shows are getting old and boring. Mary McCormack is hysterical! I didn’t know any of the other cast members but they’re all very good. RENEW!!!

I really hope they renew this show. I know I was an Irish Catholic kid raised in the 70s so it fits perfectly for me but I think it’s a really great show. It’s better every episode.
Please do NOT cancel this show! This is my favorite show! It’s hilarious and has great writers. The actors have been perfectly cast. I can’t understand why it would be canceled? The kids are all so good!
