What’s This TV Show About?
A History Middle Ages drama, Knightfall tells the story of the Knights Templar. Mark Hamill joins the History drama for season two, with Tom Cullen, Pádraic Delaney, Ed Stoppard, Simon Merrells, Julian Ovenden, and Jim Carter returning. Also new in the second season are Genevieve Gaunt, Tom Forbes, and Clementine Nicholson. The series explores the secret world of these warrior monks. With the downfall of the Templar Order looming, season two focuses on themes including power, redemption, revenge, betrayal, family, and an epic war between church and state.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Knightfall averaged a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 652,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 48% and 47%, respectively. Find out how Knightfall stacks up against other History TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will Knightfall be cancelled or renewed for season three on History? The ratings are way down but this channel has so few scripted series, it’s difficult to tell what numbers they consider to be high enough for a renewal. It better not get ******* cancelled! This show is one of the best shows and phenomenal acting I’ve seen in a long time! It’s addicting! You can go so much longer and so many stories with it. History channel if you don’t continue this show, the person in charge of the cancellation should be fired. The people that you hire to rate this are idiots! Let the people vote! Better see an update ******* soon!
Great series. Please continue! Watched seasons 1 and 2 on history, then binged on Netflix! Vikings will be gone, we need Knightfall. Don’t let us wait,let us know soon!
Knightfall is the best show I have watched in s very long time. It keeps me glued to the tv with every episode! Please bring it back for season 3 and many seasons to come!

I am in agreement with almost everyone on this thread – Knightfall needs to be renewed! I first saw it through NETFLIX. Will watch season three over other Netflix produced content which hasn’t pulled me in as strongly as other HISTORY channel produced shows like Knightfall and Vikings. Knightfall is an excellent show and reminiscent of game of thrones. Love the acting, plot, story lines etc.

I just finished watching season 2, which I enjoyed even more than the 1st season. Philip is dead and the Templars are finished, but if the writers are up to it, I’d like another season. If The History Channel decides not to renew, maybe Netflix could rescue it?
There has to be a season 3 and so forth. Can’t just leave a series like this. It’s exciting, dramatic and eyes glued to it. So it’s a must have other seasons. Your probably airing it on the wrong channels. Please come up with more.
Please do not cancel Knightfall! For Season Three, bring on board, renowned Templar historian, Scott Wolter, as a consultant and watch the ratings soar! Scott is the host of History Channel’s American Unearthed, first four seasons, and Travel Channel’s continuation beginning with Season five! Scott will lead this cast of Knightfall in a storyline that only he could do, and it would be true! Can you offer suggestions on whom I could contact regarding Mr.Wolter’s willingness to make this happen!
I just found out about this series and love it. When i saw only one season I was heartbroken. I love shows that are from this time in history and love to see you continue the series for those who have fallen in love with it you don’t know how many new people will become watchers because we have told them about it and now look for it
