Will there be another season of Knightfall? According to SpoilerTV, History has renewed the new TV show for a second season.
The historical drama is set in the Middle Ages and tells the story of the Knights Templar. The cast includes Tom Cullen, Pádraic Delaney, Simon Merrells, Olivia Ross, Ed Stoppard, Sabrina Bartlett, Julian Ovenden, Jim Carter, Bobby Schofield, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Sam Hazeldine, and Nasser Memarzia
Per Production Weekly, season two of Knightfall is slated to begin shooting in April. History has yet to confirm the renewal.

Really History Channel, King Philip murdered his wife? No, no and no. Then I have to ask where his three sons are…you know, the future kings of France? Then I just have to point out the reality of a female, Asian assassin/thief beating up on knights…there is no reality. This show is as sad as that crazy series they had about the Sons of Liberty (I will never forget the stud muffin, trench wearing Sam Adams leaping from roof top to roof top). My husband and I dvr’d The season as our schedule is too crazy. We marathon watched the entire first season in a week and now can’t wait for season two!!! We LOVED this program!

I’m eagerly looking ahead to season 2. I love this series. The story lines are great if not historically accurate. The cast is interesting and the locations definitely give the feeling of the era.
