Amazon is going back in time. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the streaming service has just picked up a new comedy called LA82.

The half-hour series comes from Jeffery Blitz and Mac Carter.

LA82 will follow “a misfit gang of schlock filmmakers who storm the gates of Hollywood in the early ’80s.” Blitz had previously directed several episodes of NBC’s The Office, in addition to films like Rocket Science and the 2002 documentary Spellbound. Carter directed the 2014 horror film Haunt.

Most recently, we also reported Amazon has bought a new drama called Vatican City from the creators of the The Good Wife.
