Tim Allen and company have had a successful Friday night run with Last Man Standing on ABC. The sitcom has more than enough episodes for syndication so, how long will it continue? Will it be cancelled this time around, or will it be renewed for a seventh season? Stay tuned.
On Last Man Standing, Mike Baxter (Tim Allen) is the marketing director of the Outdoor Man sporting goods stores. He has a wife and three daughters so it can be a little tough to stand his ground and stay in touch with his inner man. The rest of the cast includes Nancy Travis, Amanda Fuller, Molly Ephraim, Kaitlyn Dever, Christoph Sanders, Hector Elizondo, Flynn Morrison, Jordan Masterson, and Jonathan Adams.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Last year comparison: The fifth season of Last Man Standing averaged a 1.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.74 million total viewers (live + same day ratings).
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you still like the Last Man Standing TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a seventh season?
5/10 update: ABC has cancelled Last Man Standing after six seasons.
Love Last Man Standing! Great show for the whole family!!! Please don’t cancel! It’s one of the few good sitcoms left!
I think it is awful that they would cancel and great family show like Last man standing. The show pokes jokes at everyone and every thing. After all this Presidents is different and all shows are poking him. If they cancel this program , I will not watch anymore and go to another station.
Do not take last man standing off the air. It is so funny and one show I look forward to. There is so much garbage and filth on t v.
I WILL NOT WATCH ABC ANYMORE. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS ON. I LOVE THIS SHOW. I WATCH REPEATS EVERY DAY OF LMS.
Please Please Please Keep this show!!!!! We look forward to this show every Friday night. It is a perfect way to end a stressful week with this funny show
I want to see a 7th season. Its wholesome clean, funny, true to our everyday lives. It’s brilliant……. please keep it on
my favorite show! The show was real, funny and great viewing more than the other stuff liberals try and shove at us. I’m not going to have a hard time boycotting abc
This show was very very bad. Tim Allen needs to retire.
I don’t think he needs to retire, but I agree that the show was bad and deserved to be replaced. Whether ABC can come up with something better remains to be seen.
Make sure he never works again!
That seems a personal attack to me. Against rules here. But that is how the left operates. Anyone who don’t think like they do should be ostracized from living their life because it is the liberals society and anyone who don’t agree needs to be dealt with
My family loves this show. Please don’t take it off.
Love this show keep it on the air. The show has a good balance of cast with a great chemistry. There is a take away from each show.
Liberal advertisers run everything with their money!
Liberal advertisers threaten to pull money from shows across the network if this show is renewed.. that simple… what a pathetic situation these networks get themselves into..
Bring Back This Show!
Done with ABC…..they actually cancel a show that people like, but leave garbage on the air. Grow up.
Great show, funny very entertaining with maybe a little too much conservative views for a liberal media, sad!
