(Los Angeles) – Move over MacGyver. Discovery Channel’s all-new series LAST OUTPOST takes inventive ingenuity to the extreme in the treacherous turf of the Last Frontier. Backcountry builders Clint Greathouse and Todd Anderson create one-of-a-kind builds, using nothing but recycled parts, out-of-the box creativity, and sheer determination. From souped-up monster trucks to airplane-converted survival pods, these builds will blow your mind, but can they withstand the dangerous Alaskan terrain? LAST OUTPOST premieres Tuesday, April 17 at 10pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel.
Best friend duo Clint and Todd are on a mission to turn their passion of creating extreme machines into a reality, and with their remote outpost “CT Mad Modz” up and running, the guys are ready for business. Their main goal? Keep the off-gridding tradition of Alaska alive and help those who live life on the edge in the wilderness.
The series kicks off with a build of monstrous proportions. Using an old military aircraft tug vehicle, Clint and Todd build an unstoppable monster tow truck that can go anywhere, haul anything and conquer the toughest terrain of Alaska for the owner of an outback search and rescue tow service.
Throughout the season, Clint and Todd help keep their backcountry community surviving and thriving with their unique builds including, an all-terrain wheelchair, a sawmill built from a school bus, a mining sluice rigged to an ATV, and a swamp and hunting boat built from an old military transport, giving these off-gridders and homesteaders equipment they can rely on to survive.
LAST OUTPOST is produced for Discovery Channel by Warm Springs Productions. For Warm Springs Productions, executive producers are Marc Pierce, Chris Richardson, Ajax Broome and Ken Snow with co-executive producer Trevor Baierl. For Discovery Channel, executive producer is Joseph Boyle with associate producer Jessica Mollo.”

Love it! I would love to see more!
I had DVR’d the first 6 episodes to watch when I had time, without the wife and just started watching for a full binge. I LOVE this show, the guys are very talented and genuine. Not like a lot of other shows, order parts and put together, these guys truly engineer scrap to valuable tools to survive the outback. And they don’t see the need to talk vulgar. I can watch with my young sons.
This shows one of the best shows Discovery has on. I hope that they go and take it to full series. They need to keep shows like this on the air. Thank you Discovery you guys are great.
