What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, Law & Order: SVU follows an elite squad of detectives who investigate sexually based crimes in New York City. In season 18, the cast is made up of Mariska Hargitay, Ice-T, Kelli Giddish, Peter Scanavino, and Raul Esparza. Recurring actors include Robert John Burke, Peter Gallagher, and Elizabeth Marvel.

The 18th season of Law & Order: SVU on NBC averaged a 1.34 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 5.83 million viewers. Compared to season 17, that’s down by 16% in the demo and down by 16% in total viewers. Compare its standing against the other NBC TV shows we are tracking. Telly’s Take
This venerable NBC is down in the ratings but it remains one of the peacock network’s best-rated scripted shows. Executive producer Dick Wolf also has a reputation for keeping costs down. I have no doubt that SVU will be renewed for season 19.

I really love this show I been watching it since I been a kid and I’m only 19 now it showed me a lot I hope they don’t cancel it cause I want my kids to watch this to just like I grow up watching this show
I am watching the reruns on Hulu now. It’s deserves 19- plus seasons in my opinion. I love this show. Please do not cancell it now, please and leave us hanging with an escapee still on the loose. I’ve watched this all my life. Please, please keep it on.

I would love to see it renewed. I watch law and order all the time. If we miss it we watch it on nbc.com. My girls started watching since they were 12 years old. Now their 19.with rape cases going on more than ever, this does teach it’s ok to tell someone. During the we always go back to old season on nbc.com.

I strongly agree. May sound corny but this show has kinda become part of the family! Lol. I would be heartbroken if it went away.(I refuse to use the word “cancelled”)! I want to see Fin as a sargeant for AWHILE and more development of Carisi’s (Sonny!) character also. Been watching it since ’99 and will continue to watch it, and the syndicated reruns, for AS LONG AS IT’S ON! I LOVE IT!
