A familiar face is returning to Law & Order: SVU. Deadline reports Christopher Meloni will reprise his role as Elliot Stable for a new NBC TV show.
Meloni played Detective Elliot Stabler for the first 12 seasons of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which centers on an elite squad of New York City Police Department detectives who investigate crimes including sexual assault, child abuse, and domestic violence. The series is currently in its 21st season and stars Mariska Hargitay, Ice-T, Kelli Giddish, and Peter Scanavino.
Meloni is reprising his iconic Law & Order: SVU role for a new spin-off series from Dick Wolf. NBC has ordered 13 episodes of the untitled TV show, which “revolves around the NYPD organized crime unit led by Stabler (Meloni).”

Absolutely WILL WATCH……………….Missed Stabler all these years. It wasn’t the same without him!!
I think anything Dick Wolf does is addictive and with Stabler back even better!!! I do wish Stabler was coming back to SVU❤The written story in my head had Stabler coming back to SVU ,divorced and reconnecting with Benson, after all its about time you give her a serious relationship, she’s way past due!!!Especially as a single mom she needs a man for Noah!!

Absolutely I’ll watch it. Svu hasn’t been as good since Christopher left. As much as I love Mariska she just can’t seem to carry the lead in the top billing category. She’s much better as the support roll as she was in the beginning of the show when Maloney led the cast. But I’m sure a lot of people will disagree with my opinion, but it is my opinion

Love the show the. cast Have been watching since the beginning and end of all the Law and orders Miss them all Okay Ice T Giddish don’t go anywhere I know HAgarty is not leaving she’s the show and Scanavino stay where you are because at least you didn’t break up my family you just changed positions Good for your promotion Now I loved Stabler and Benson together but he went and left I will try the show when it comes on but I know I’ll get hooked because all of Dick Wolfs series are fantastic

I’M A HUGE FAN and have watched FAITHFULLY since the very beginning and can’t be Happier for Chris Meloni and wish him much success!!!!! We also watched his show HAPPY and was disappointed it only lasted 2 seasons it was original, weird, funny, Great acting on his part!!!!

I stopped watching svu when he left. He adds a lot to any program he’s in. Such a good actor to play a monster in OZ.
