TV show description:
A science-fiction drama, the Legion TV show is based on the Marvel comics by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz. It’s the story of David Haller (Dan Stevens), a troubled young man who may be more than human.
As a child, David was diagnosed as schizophrenic and he has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. Now in his early 30s, he’s institutionalized once again.
David loses himself in the rhythm of the structured regimen of life in the hospital and spends the rest of his time in companionable silence, alongside his chatterbox friend Lenny “Cornflakes” Busker (Aubrey Plaza). Lenny’s a fellow patient whose life-long drug and alcohol addiction has done nothing to quell her boundless optimism that her luck is about to change.
The pleasant numbness of David’s routine is completely upended with the arrival of a beautiful and troubled new patient, Sydney “Syd” Barrett (Rachel Keller). Inexplicably drawn to one another, David and Syd share a startling encounter. He must confront the shocking possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees are the result of him being a mutant.
Haunted, David escapes from the hospital and seeks shelter with his sister Amy (Katie Aselton). But Amy’s concern for her brother is trumped by her desire to protect the picture-perfect suburban life she’s built for herself.
Eventually, Syd guides David to meet Melanie Bird (Jean Smart), a nurturing but demanding therapist with a sharp mind and unconventional methods. She and her team of specialists – Ptonomy Wallace (Jeremie Harris), Kerry Loudermilk (Amber Midthunder) and Cary Loudermilk (Bill Irwin) – open David’s eyes to an extraordinary new world of possibilities.

What do you think? Do you like the Legion TV show? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a fourth season?
This seems a bit ridiculous to me. Very slow moving, too many special effects, not enough substance of story.
While “Legion” isn’t to everyone’s tastes it should be renewed. It’s well written and acted and is quirky enough to keep my interest.
A great example of style and substance that sadly made me turn off after 3 episodes.
even if it didn’t or couldn’t follow the comic story line I think its a well written and acted show with today’s feelings about mutant /human relationships and having a 70’s BBC TV show feel to it. looking forward to a season 2
loved it. hope it gets renewed
awesome – renew
this is my kind of show. I may even get hulu show I can continue to watch. please don’t lose track of were the show is going and invite “new” ideas into the frey. Fan of jean smart since designing women. wish I was into comics to compare, but still highly entertained. please renew.
THE Best of the Best Tv shows Renew
great show . we need more
Love…love…love…renew!!
Renew – please, please renew.
Renew the show!
Legion needs to be cancelled
Absolute RENEW.
PLEASE renew this show. Legion is the best new show on tv right now. As a fan of the comics, the Kurbicish take on this fan favorite is just beautiful. While I cannot wait for him to go supernova and unleash hell, the buildup is more interesting that I thought possible and deserves to be fully explored.
