The Live PD franchise is gone for good. According to NextTV, Sony Pictures Television has cancelled the A&E TV show’s syndicated spin-off series Live PD Police Patrol.
The weekly series focused on the daily work of police forces throughout the United States. “Every episode highlights the daily life-and-death situations faced by Sheriff’s Departments, Highway Patrols and local Police Departments in a diverse range of jurisdictions from Connecticut to Arizona, ” via the show’s website.
Sony Pictures Television cancelled Live PD Police Patrol after A&E ended Live PD in the wake of international protests against police brutality. Live PD Police Patrol is being pulled off the air this week.

The public deserves a say.
I have had metastatic breast cancer 3 years, only a few things I have to look forward to. Live PD was my life line as I grow weaker every day. I love Nemo, Kato, and Yogi. I don’t see this a racist show as more white people get in trouble. But this show showed compassion with police officers interacting with there community. Why because a few bad cops make horrible decisions we pay. I know this won’t help but I tried.
Love PD is a great show it showed a lot of real live problems in the US we need cops when in trouble who do you call cops bring live PD back best show on TV

Makes you wonder who is in charge
I agree with everyone when they say it was the best show Friday and Saturday. And what about lost kid segment . 60% of lost kids found.way to go A & E.
God Bless our Men and Woman in Blue! If anything the public must see what these brave men and woman deal with on a daily basis. Stop the insanity! We need to take back our streets and restore law and order! Respect the Badge and Back the Blue! A&E and Sony, your just wrong!
Bring back Live PD a lot of people like it don’t let vigilantes scare you into discontinue the show why don’t you take a toll and find out how many people want it back on
Very disappointed about cancellations
I am So Sad That it’s over! I knew with it being the best show on TV; somehow it wouldn’t last! I have no desire to even watch tv anymore
Seems to me this is reverse discrimination..now I don’t have the right to watch what I want. Where’s my freedom? If people don’t like it then they don’t have to watch it.
What ever happened to if you don’t like something turn the channel or don’t buy the product. Our freedoms are being eroded away again and again with ZERO input from the public!!!! Well I’m exercising my right to not watch this spineless channel again, sorry folks that work there but I hope this channel goes bankrupt.
