The Live PD franchise is gone for good. According to NextTV, Sony Pictures Television has cancelled the A&E TV show’s syndicated spin-off series Live PD Police Patrol.
The weekly series focused on the daily work of police forces throughout the United States. “Every episode highlights the daily life-and-death situations faced by Sheriff’s Departments, Highway Patrols and local Police Departments in a diverse range of jurisdictions from Connecticut to Arizona, ” via the show’s website.
Sony Pictures Television cancelled Live PD Police Patrol after A&E ended Live PD in the wake of international protests against police brutality. Live PD Police Patrol is being pulled off the air this week.

I absolutely loved both shows. I’m retired from working at a police department (admin secretary) and loved almost all of the officers. It was great to watch LivePD on Friday and Saturday nights. Now they replaced with nothing but crap. If people didn’t like the shows they could have just changed the channel! I’m so disappointed in A&E that they could disappoint so many because of a few.
Live PD should srill be on . They taught me things to teach my Grandchildren about how to respect the police . You have made a HUGH mistake. People need to see all police are not bad. This should never had been cancelled, it’s a great show don’t fall to the racist left , thus show shows exactly what cops have to put up with to protect us the people who pay taxes and their salary
Please bring live pd back. Its was a well love show. I believe we should have the choice to watch it are not. It’s a tasteful show, all the live pd different show are tasteful. There’s other cop show on and not all police are bad. So we should have the choice to watch what we want. I sure hope these comments are looked at and listen to . Thank you
PLEASE bring back LIVE PD. This show is needed right now. With all that is going on in the world and especially within our country, this show was a bridge to bring together. How many espisodes did people (ALL PEOPLE) ask ‘Is this LIVE PD’. There are not many shows / specials/movies that encompass as much as LIVE PD has.
Ready for Live PD to air more shows and until Live at least air similar types. Bad decision to stop this needed viewing.

No!! I’m honestly pissed about it. I REALLY enjoyed watching the show, and it showed GOOD Police work… WHY would you NOT want to show that, ESPECIALLY during a time like this! This is a complete overreaction if you ask me! Definitely was pissed when I was only 3 episodes in, and it stopped on me, and then noticed all episodes were being taken down at that very moment.

No, I absolutely do not agree!!! This show was actually beneficial, to many people. Helping find missing children, find fugitives and showed what REALLY happens on the street. Law Enforcement everywhere are taking a huge hit. This is the one show, that was actually “helping them”, and now you’re taking away that help. I refuse to watch anything on A&E now.
