The Live PD franchise is gone for good. According to NextTV, Sony Pictures Television has cancelled the A&E TV show’s syndicated spin-off series Live PD Police Patrol.
The weekly series focused on the daily work of police forces throughout the United States. “Every episode highlights the daily life-and-death situations faced by Sheriff’s Departments, Highway Patrols and local Police Departments in a diverse range of jurisdictions from Connecticut to Arizona, ” via the show’s website.
Sony Pictures Television cancelled Live PD Police Patrol after A&E ended Live PD in the wake of international protests against police brutality. Live PD Police Patrol is being pulled off the air this week.
What do you think? Do you watch Live PD Police Patrol? Do you think Sony made the right call?
I loved watching ALL of the Live PD shows as they showed what an officer goes through on a daily basis. The sad part is that the Missing Segment is gone too and I feel Live PD Nation watchers really helped look for missing kids & adults.
I’ll never watch the channel again. Unless they reverse this ignorant and misguided decision that is.
Pathetic decision but another network could pick it up and make big $$$$$$$$$$$$. Can’t wait!!!!
I am very disappointed Live PD is cancelled. The show allowed viewers to see real situations, had very teachable moments AND viewers helped with tips on missing children and most wanted. I am praying for the safety of all law enforcement!! God Bless You all.
Shame on A & E. You are cowarding down. You might as well be one of the butt kissing companies that are being bought by some political lobbiest And told what to do and what to show, instead of standing up to the terrorrist, (yes I called them that because they tell you to take it off or you will be fined or whatever’s). Live Pd is a great documented series of everyday good and bad of all walks, color and breeds of life. It’s every life matters, and in every life there are good and bad. This show showed… Read more »
I think they should have never canceled any of the live PD shows they are good shows and live PD also did a missing segment that helped find missing kids and it worked so now that’s gone too or sucks!!!!!!!
In the end you will see you made a serious mistake pulling a good show and in turn supporting anarchism
Live PD was the most ethical show on tv and very transparent I will never watch A&E channel again. We pray the cast find another channel to pick them up because cancelling the show was poor decision and poor taste! You have no idea how many kids who are considering law enforcement watch that show you took an ethical show and dumped it. So I’m dumping you!
Cancel culture at its worst. Alienating the fan base of the highest rated show was not a smart move.
This show did far more good than harm , what’s wrong with that? Does it not fit your agenda? Do your political views rule your lives so much that you can’t think clearly? Remember this Sony A&E paramount, we do NOT need you. But you DO need us .
I’m so disappointed, I’ve watched,COPs and Then Live PD , for over 30 years! My weekend night will never be the same
I am so disappointed they let a small group of bullies take off the best show on TV. Never watching A&E again. Hope some other organization will create a new one just like it. Come on Fox grow a pair!!
A&E and Sony made a huge mistake cancelling Live PD and Police Patrol. My grandson, 8 years old, and I watched every chance we had. He asks me every time he is with me if we can watch Live PD, we are both very disappointed by the poor decision to cancel these shows.
Live PD was the only show I watched on Friday and Saturday nights. I enjoyed the interactions of the police officers with members of their communities. The show revealed the human side of these officers. I will miss it. No more A&E for me.
No more a&e the channel is dead that is the only show we watch on your channel since day one of airing no more A&e you will find yourself in bankruptcy soon so many feel sad that you cancel a awesome show the was equal in the race no one was singled out I’m done with you
I guess now it’s the mob that makes the rules.
