An OWN dramedy from showrunner Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil, Love Is stars Michele Weaver, Will Catlett, Idara Victor, Tyrone Brown, Kadeem Hardison, Yootha Wong-Loi-Sing, and Lana Young. Inspired by the real lives of its executive producers, the TV series explores how a modern “power couple” in “Black Hollywood” balances their professional, personal, and family lives.

I love Love Is and would of loved a season 2
Yes, I would have watched the Second Season. I was actually waiting for the second season. This is truly heart wrenching that we will no longer see good and clean television that really touched the core of who we are and what we have gone through in life. It truly was relatable. I can truly think of some television shows that should be canceled but instead we cancel Love Is. I guess LOVE IS: painful. Due to the cancellation. Please reconsider.
OMGGG!!! I can’t believe it’s cancelled!! It was a fabulous show that spoke to the real feelings of black love and the struggle to get it together between black women and our men. It felt sooo real which is Huge in this “do whatever you need to do to get ratings” society. I could appreciate everything about it. From what I heard though, it’s cancelled because there was some real life drama with the Akil’s that came to the forefront as a result of the show and MeToo movement. I am really missing If Loving You is Wrong. I hope the show has not been canceled as it is one of my favorites. I should also mention that Love Is… is the greatest show of 2018!!!! I can’t wait for next season…. The Haves and Have Nots is a given best TV drama EVER!!

I would be very disappointed if it was cancelled. Being able to watch Something that feels so real is what is needed in today’s environment. Dealing with real issues help those out here to understand each other, especially what our black men are feeling. And I think it helps the brother to better understand us. Why we silo support them through thick and thin…
This is an awesome show. Give it time. It will catch on.
Hi I heard about Love Is from a couple fries so I decided to watch it this weekend and I must admit I truly enjoyed it. I have to agree with the other viewer please don’t cancel give it a chance. I find this show very refreshing.
