Lucifer is back from the dead. Netflix just released a new teaser and the premiere date for the TV show’s fourth season.
The drama series, which was picked up by Netflix after being cancelled by FOX, stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, who leaves Hell for Los Angeles. The cast also includes Lauren German, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, Tricia Helfer, Scarlett Estevez, and Tom Welling.
Season four of Lucifer premieres on Netflix on May 8th.
Tom Ellis told TVLine fans can expect a richer storyline for the new season:
Having it in this [10-episode] format means that our story is distilled down to being much richer. What’s at stake in each episode is much higher. It just feels denser… telling the story in the best possible way.”

Best show on Netflix. Talent, smart, entertaining. God please don’t stop writing for this show. Season four was amazing. There isn’t anything like this out there. Please give us more seasons.
Omg I am a big fan of Lucifer and I thank you Netflix for picking it up. But why couldn’t it be for more Seasons than one? It’s so popular why can’t you give it more seasons please????????
I am happy to hear Lucifer will be returning. The last episode on whatever TV channel it was on was terrible. I just think character Lucifer is funny and is played by the perfect person.
