When Lucifer premiered in early 2016, many people wanted the show to be cancelled before they even saw it, at least in part because of the subject matter. While the show’s ratings weren’t great, they were good enough for the FOX series to be renewed. Will it do well enough to get a third season renewal? Stay tuned.
On the Lucifer TV show, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. Following a brutal murder outside of his nightclub, he starts to have feelings of compassion for the first time in billions of years and ends up helping a homicide detective (Lauren German). In season two, Lucifer and his brother (D. B. Woodside) team up to find their mother (Tricia Helfer) who recently escaped from Hell. The rest of the cast includes Rachael Harris, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. I really like the show ,and looking forward for the 3rd season. I streamed the show and it took me all day to watch the first and second season. I thought the 3rd season started Jan 16 but it’s not what a let down .i really hope they don’t cancel the show………..

I watched bouth seasons from yesterday to right now and “i really, really desire..another season.” i hope it will survive, you know.. the show.. i mean, yeah, Lucifer is inmortal indeed..But i hope that chloe isn’t around for a period of time(See what i did there?)

I would love for this show to stay on, I’m tired of the cancelation of shows because of low view rating, like hello this show got an 8.3/10 from IMDb and they rarely go past the 8 mark.

Definitely bring more seasons of luckier love the programme, would be nice if was on normal TV in UK as we have to pay for Amazon to watch it or sky. Would definitely get even more viewers if was accessible to everyone. It so good and everyone should get the opportunity to watch it.
