When Lucifer premiered in early 2016, many people wanted the show to be cancelled before they even saw it, at least in part because of the subject matter. While the show’s ratings weren’t great, they were good enough for the FOX series to be renewed. Will it do well enough to get a third season renewal? Stay tuned.
On the Lucifer TV show, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. Following a brutal murder outside of his nightclub, he starts to have feelings of compassion for the first time in billions of years and ends up helping a homicide detective (Lauren German). In season two, Lucifer and his brother (D. B. Woodside) team up to find their mother (Tricia Helfer) who recently escaped from Hell. The rest of the cast includes Rachael Harris, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. I stumbled to the series because of the ridiculous name and thought its just another one of the fallen ones xD but i was amazed on how the story develops, the sarcasm, the acting, everything. This series is gold. Pls continue it.

I LOVE LUCIFER – IT’S MY FAVOURITE TV SHOW. Please don’t cancel it 🙁 Not only is it funny and touching/deep, it has an interesting and exciting crime aspect!! Also, we have been patiently waiting for the main characters to become an item – I do not want them to rush that after all this suspense.
I love LOVE LOVE this show. I loved the comic… and I think we need to push this on our so called comic buddies so they watch and this show gets both the accolades and the ratings it deserves! I’ve admit I have binge watched lucifer on hulu and I have to say by far THE BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER WATCHED and “my desires is for a 3rd season of lucifer and quickly ” please tell all your fallen ones lol when will it happen so I may sell my soul again and binge watch another season (like all these references)
I always watch thi sshow on HULU the day after because i have no need for actual cable and I LOVE THIS SHOW. BEST THING ON TV NEXT TO SUPERNATURAL
