Are you watching Manifest? Recently, creator Jeff Rake spoke with Page Six about his hopes for the future of the NBC TV show.
The freshman drama revolves around the passengers of a routine airline flight that goes missing — and then reappears. The cast includes Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, and Parveen Kaur.
Speaking to Page Six, Rake revealed he’s “optimistic” NBC will renew Manifest for a second season:
I haven’t heard anything yet about a Season 2 pickup but I’m optimistic. We do well. The studio and the network like the show.”
A season two renewal seems likely for Manifest given the show’s positive ratings. So far, season one is averaging a 1.27 rating in the 18-49 demo and 6.557 million viewers.

My family and I love this show! There are only a few shows we all like and this is definitely one of them. It has a suspenseful storyline and the acting is great! Where the finale was left last night there needs to be a conclusion NBC can’t leave us hanging like that!

Absolutely love this show. It is captivating and the only show I have ever watched that keeps me intrigued and contemplating! One of only a couple programs I watch. Hope it has multiple seasons with conditioned suspense, heartfelt undertones and unpredictability!!

Manifest is my 2nd favorite show behind Criminal Minds and we already know season 15 is the last one for that show. So with that being said I will be in a very bad place I’d I lose Manidest too…. I love this show and have already gotten 3 other people addicted… #renewManifest
