We have some good news for our Canadian readers. The Mary Kills People TV show has been renewed for a third and final season on Global. While Lifetime hasn’t yet announced it has renewed Mary Kills People for season three, that does not mean it is cancelled. Last year, although the Global renewal was announced on June 5th, Lifetime didn’t announce until July 28th. We suggest you put cancellation out of your head, until at least August, and enjoy the summer.
A Lifetime black comedy-drama, Mary Kills People stars Caroline Dhavernas, Jay Ryan, and Richard Short. The second installment of the series features guest stars Rachelle Lefevre and Ian Lake. The story centers on Dr. Mary Harris (Dhavernas). This physician and single mother also operates a mercy-killing business on the side. As with the first two installments, the third season of Mary Kills People will consist of six hourlong episodes.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Mary Kills People TV series? Do you plan to watch the third and final season on Global? Do you expect Lifetime to renew this TV show for season three?
Part of the problem with Lifetime shows is that it doesn’t seem to matter if people like it. Lifetime does what they want & it doesn’t matter what the viewers want. It tends to make people a little gun shy. This is especially true when 2-3 shows into a series the rumors of cancellation have already started. People don’t want to get pulled in just to get dropped. 1/3 of my fave shows were on Lifetime & then they started just dumping shows (DDD, Strong Medicine, etc) – in many cases not even giving any notice or wrapping things up.… Read more »
Definitely will watch season 3. Great show with actual life lessons.
Hoping lifetime renews season 3 of Mary Kills People in USA. Great show with thought provoking issue as story line. Lots of twists and turns.
Lifetime must pick up Season 3 of Mary Kills People…Love, love, love the show!!!!
I love this show! I hope to catch the last season somehow. I will miss it terribly!
Yes! Will, watch season 3 …just hate knowing it will then end
Will definitely watch season 3
I love this sjow! My husband and I binge watched it this weekend. I can’t wsit for it to return as it covers so many topics that network shows have s difficult time with. So hoping the dog isn’t alone when the show returns.
I have been waiting to hear, “season 3”… I am beyond exited, anxious, can’t wait! I hope there is not a bomb dropped. I have been left hanging in the past, when shows canceled; really sucks! It’s a shame when a great show does not have the rating expected by a network. We fans, whom dedicate our time and minds , deserve more story and some!!! COME BACK!!…..
I love this show I started watching this about a week ago it was addictive I already finished watching season 1 and 2 it makes you think. I have seen a lot of good shows come and go this one falls in the top ten.
Love this show! I want to see it play out for many seasons to come
I hope they find a way to continue the show in some way! It’s fun and edgy while tackling a very real human issue!
While highly entertaining and addictive, theshow is an amazing and thought provoking portrait on the issue of assisted suicide. Watching the finale, I realized that assisted suicide is more taboo from our fear of death, then the legal ramifications that would need to be dealt with. I would prefer to have my death be an event of my own choosing, among family and friends I think celebrating death would also allow us all to not fear what is inevitable.
Thank you for a show that addresses such a highly sensitive topic. I hope season 3 will not be the end.
This is my FAVORITE show. I am SO glad there’s a third season. I hope she doesn’t go to jail at the end of it. This program is very needed to help advocate for euthanasia and doctor-assisted death which is the compassionate thing to do for people who are suffering. I hope there will be more seasons after this upcoming third season and I wish there were more episodes in each season.
I am so excited and thankful, we get a season 3… too many times a show I enjoy gets cancelled; so Thank you! But can “final season”, be left out for now?… maybe there is room or more to this awesome story. Creative minds have a lot to share. Hey, just saying!!
