TV show description:
Created in part by Chuck Lorre, this sitcom’s story follows an obese couple living in Chicago who meet at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting. She’s comfortable with the way she is, but he’d like to lose a little.
Officer Mike Biggs (Billy Gardell) has a good heart and really wants to shed the extra pounds. His thin partner, Officer Carl McMillan (Reno Wilson), seems to be the opposite. He’s always teasing Mike but underneath it all, Carl’s encouraging to him. They frequent a diner with a Senegalese waiter, Samuel (Nyambi Nyambi), who has no concept about dieting at all.
Molly Flynn (Melissa McCarthy) is a fourth-grade teacher who’d like to be comfortable with her curvy body. Her sister Victoria (Katy Mixon) and mother Joyce (Swoosie Kurtz) both have it so much easier. They have great figures that they don’t seem to have to work for and pay no mind about eating right in front of her.
Mike speaks up at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting and meets Molly after his speech. Neither came there looking for love, but they’re also not going to turn it down if they can find it. Mike and Molly are willing to try it and see if they can make it work.
Episode #127 — I See Love
Mike and Molly gather with family and friends for a momentous occasion and reminisce about everything that led to this point.
First aired: May 16, 2016.
What do you think? Do you like the Mike & Molly TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a seventh season?
Love the show do not cancel
Totally agree with all the comments. Best comedy on the air. Love this show and hope CBS will reconsider and keep Mike and Molly on the air. My husband and I have watched this show since it came on the air and laugh out loud, it’s HILARIOUS!!
Sooooo sad to see this show end, one of the very few I happily anticipated each week. This is a major mistake made by CBS. I hope they reconsider after fans pour their hearts out over the loss.
Cancelling this show is clearly a CBS corporate greed issue, they don’t own it so they cant line the stockholder pockets as much. What a boneheaded move to cancel a popular show with one of Hollywood’s biggest draws, Melissa McCarthy. I agree with other comments, get rid of dumb shows like to broke girls. Maybe its time to cancel Leslie Moonves for canceling popular shows
I love, love, love Mike and Molly. I will be sad if it’s cancelled. Why are they taking it off the air? Does it have anything to do with Melissa McCarthy’s weight loss? If so, that’s so wrong. She is a beautiful woman, large or not so much, either way, she is a huge (no pun intended) talent. I have seen almost every film she’s been in and she cracks me up. She is wonderful, and the whole cast is perfect. Why do all the good shows get yanked? What’s left for us at home to watch? Infomercials and blood… Read more »
I love that show , it makes laugh so please don’t cancel the show
“Mike & Molly” is much better than most Thursday evening sitcoms. I hope it will not be cancelled.
Great show. Even watch the reruns, which I never do
don’t cancel Mike and Molly. I love this show and I don’t want it cancelled, PLEASE!!!!
Please don’t cancel. This is the best show since the Golden Girls. Cancel 2 Broke Girls along with numerous other stupid ones and keep the wonderful cast of Mike & Molly.
please renew mike & molly; & cancel 2 broke girls
They should not have cancelled Mike and Molly.. I love this show… I wish another network would pick it up!!! They leave other stupid shows on but cancel the good ones . So mad
I’m sick that Mike and Molly will be cancelled since I look forward to watching it including the re-runs. I don’t care for shows that include blood and guts or people growing fangs or looking like animals. Please re-consider your decision and keep Mike and Molly on the TV for several more seasons.
great show bad choice on CBS part I like it better than 2 broke girls
So true so much better than 2 broke girls what were they thinking!
