TV show description:
Created in part by Chuck Lorre, this sitcom’s story follows an obese couple living in Chicago who meet at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting. She’s comfortable with the way she is, but he’d like to lose a little.
Officer Mike Biggs (Billy Gardell) has a good heart and really wants to shed the extra pounds. His thin partner, Officer Carl McMillan (Reno Wilson), seems to be the opposite. He’s always teasing Mike but underneath it all, Carl’s encouraging to him. They frequent a diner with a Senegalese waiter, Samuel (Nyambi Nyambi), who has no concept about dieting at all.
Molly Flynn (Melissa McCarthy) is a fourth-grade teacher who’d like to be comfortable with her curvy body. Her sister Victoria (Katy Mixon) and mother Joyce (Swoosie Kurtz) both have it so much easier. They have great figures that they don’t seem to have to work for and pay no mind about eating right in front of her.
Mike speaks up at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting and meets Molly after his speech. Neither came there looking for love, but they’re also not going to turn it down if they can find it. Mike and Molly are willing to try it and see if they can make it work.
Episode #127 — I See Love
Mike and Molly gather with family and friends for a momentous occasion and reminisce about everything that led to this point.
First aired: May 16, 2016.
What do you think? Do you like the Mike & Molly TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a seventh season?
We watch all re-runs over and over. every time great comedy starts a show, like mike and Molly it goes off the air. Then they come out with “the millers”, the mccarthy’s and they die. But for some reason “two broke girls” gets renewed that is the worst acting and the comedy is just terrible, I mean terrible.
Will never understand networks decisions.
I love the show
My wife has literally wet her pants more than once from laughing so much. Had to rewind to hear what we missed. DON’T CANCEL PLEASE
You’re kidding me, right? Cancel one of funniest sitcoms on TV and you’re keeping Two Broke Ho’s? Who’s the idiot network genius that made that decision? Unreal! When Molly has her mishaps, falls, interaction with a prop it’s off the chart hilarious what Mellisa can do. It’s like watching Lucille Ball and Ralph Cramdon in a dance of mishaps. One great show, One big mistake network boys!
Keep Mike as a Divorced man, with the same in laws
Mike and Molly quickly became one of our very favorites, until Molly quit hr teacher’s job, and decided to try and mimic Lucy ( from I love Lucy). Can’t you all divorce them, and get another wife for Mike, while keeping his old in-laws? We agree that Molly’s new rise to fame in Movies( and not so much ,as far as good movies) sort of , we guess, had her demand a bigger comedy part in Mike and Molly, and she wasn’ t successful
Do not cancel. Best comedy on TV. I watch the reruns every night.
Great show don’t want to see it cancelled.
I love the Mike and Molly show. One of the best ever! I do not want it cancelled!!
VERY VERY VERY WRONGH THING TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please do NOT CANCEL this show !!!
Mike and Molly is a great show my husband and I watch every night. The lame reasons why they say it’s being canceled is ridiculous.
A great sitcom is rare, and I’m not saying that Mike & Molly is up there among the best, i.e., Cheers, Seinfeld, Frasier, and a few others, but it’s one of the very few on currently that’s really entertaining. Sooo funny, well of course, Melissa McCarthy and Billy Gardell are great. And all of the supporting actors are hilarious, too! Please leave it on!!!
The reasons for cancelling are absurd. They state it is because of the drinking and pot situations. But they can leave things on like Two Broke Girls which is nothing but constant sexual innuendo and blatant sexual references. And although I liked Two & 1/2 Men, it was about a promiscuous alcoholic. Mike & Molly is mild compare those and others,
renew this show. it is by far the most entertaining show CBS has aired in a very long time!!!
DO not cancel the show. It is the best comedy CBS has.
