TV show description:
Created in part by Chuck Lorre, this sitcom’s story follows an obese couple living in Chicago who meet at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting. She’s comfortable with the way she is, but he’d like to lose a little.
Officer Mike Biggs (Billy Gardell) has a good heart and really wants to shed the extra pounds. His thin partner, Officer Carl McMillan (Reno Wilson), seems to be the opposite. He’s always teasing Mike but underneath it all, Carl’s encouraging to him. They frequent a diner with a Senegalese waiter, Samuel (Nyambi Nyambi), who has no concept about dieting at all.
Molly Flynn (Melissa McCarthy) is a fourth-grade teacher who’d like to be comfortable with her curvy body. Her sister Victoria (Katy Mixon) and mother Joyce (Swoosie Kurtz) both have it so much easier. They have great figures that they don’t seem to have to work for and pay no mind about eating right in front of her.
Mike speaks up at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting and meets Molly after his speech. Neither came there looking for love, but they’re also not going to turn it down if they can find it. Mike and Molly are willing to try it and see if they can make it work.
Episode #127 — I See Love
Mike and Molly gather with family and friends for a momentous occasion and reminisce about everything that led to this point.
First aired: May 16, 2016.
What do you think? Do you like the Mike & Molly TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a seventh season?
I really hope CBS reconsiders canceling this show or another station picks up this series. It is well written, great cast and definitely one that I love to watch.
This is one of the best and funniest shows I’ve ever watched. I watch it, faithfully, every night. I could see them over and over.
Are you serious? It’s a lighthearted show, so tired of the talent and crime shows. We need more shows like this !!!!!!!!!
This is probably the best show on tv now !! It’s realality, the people are not perfect, they all have their faults. Yet they live and love each other. a GREAT family show .DON’T CANCEL, we need more shows like this on tv, and less violence
and sex shows.
CBS doesn’t have a lot of good viewing, so it doesn’t make sense to cancel this show. Now there is no sense to even flip to CBS. What a bunch of idiots……
Cancelling Mike and Molly is so disappointing. It’s a great show, cancel Two Broke Girls
I agree cancel Two Broke Girls instead all that show talks about is boobs and sex…… disgusting!!!! Not funny at all!!!
The president of CBS is an IDIOT to cancel this show.
I think it’s just typical of a station (CBS) to cancel a great show like this. Get you sucked into the characters and then wham they cancel. Shame on you CBS, not making enough money for you!!! Maybe we should all stop watching CBS, that way we won’t be so disappointed with the next cancellation. By the way, why did they get on the air this season for only so few episodes? I’m sure that was you CBS.
Yeah…What Cathy said. Did CBS forget…WHERE IS THE BABY AND THE BETTER CREDIT RATING???
Never, don’t cancel…..it’s the ONLY show my husband and I like to watch together…..we laugh and smile so much…..must you really do this…there’s so little on TV now-a-days that touches the heart….
WATCHING TV 30 YEARS, I NEVER SEEN A SHOW THAT ALL CAST ARE FUNNY & GREAT LIKE MIKE & MOLLY. THE WRING IS SHARP, WITTY & MOST IMPORTANT NOT SILLY GIKEY LIKE MANY OTHERS.
WHEN ACTING & WRITING IS GOOD YOU CAN WATCH AN EPISODE OVER & OVER AGAIN.
SEINFELD WAS ANOTHER EXAMPLE ( EXCEPT FOR THE MAIN GIRL NOT BEING VERY FUNNY). OR FRIENDS ANOTHER ONE (EXCEPT FOR DAVID SCH… NOT VERY FUNNY). CANCEL 2 BROKE GIRLS,. THESE 2 GIRLS ARE ACTING LIKE THEY ARE READING THE LINES FROM A SCRIPT
I guess I’m done with this network every time I find a show I like they cancel it Mike and Molly was a great show very funny
My husand and I like Mike and Molly. We also liked the Miller’s and they took that off too. They are funny shows. After watching the news you need to laugh at something. A lot of shows on TV are to much like reality. We need to laugh.
I really hope CBS reconsiders canceling this show or another savvy station picks up this series. It is well written, great cast and definitely my favorite adult comedy series on air.
How in the world can u guys even think about canceling mike and Molly. It is definitely the best CBS has on the air now!! Or when u guys put on the air, a lot of the programming issues with all u major networks is that u change nights and times and the American public doesn’t know when anything is coming on!
One of the funniest (if not the funniest) shows on television. Have loved it since day one. Please do not cancel
