Is Million Dollar Mile ending? CBS is moving the freshman TV series to Saturday nights beginning this May.
Hosted by Tim Tebow, the obstacle course competition show follows contestants as they make their way through the “Million Dollar Mile” and their biggest obstacle, an international team of top-ranked athletes which has but one mission — to stop the contestants from finishing the race and winning the prize.
Million Dollar Mile could be in some trouble. Only two episodes in and CBS has already decided to push the show to Saturday nights, a lackluster night for primetime. So far, the show’s ratings haven’t been promising. Currently, Million Dollar Mile is averaging a .85 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 3.575 million viewers.
The show will be moving to Saturday nights beginning May 4th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
What do you think? Have you seen Million Dollar Mile? Do you want a second season?
Keep the shows Million Dollar Mile, Random, Bull, Madam Secretary and bring back Code Bkack.
I think the show was very good but was not promoted well. Didn’t know about it until someone who watches it told me about it
We really like the premise of the show. The defenders are inspiring to watch, and it’s fun to see who will go for another challenge. Great concept. What doesn’t work on the show is Tim Tebow. His pointed accentuation of Every.Single.Word is tiring to say the least. I’m not sure why he wasn’t screen tested first. If you were looking for name recognition, I’m sure you could have found somebody who was considerably more natural. Good grief, give the hosting job to Tara Lapinski and Johnny Weir – they’d bring you an audience!
I love the show, it’s extremely competitive, exciting and it keeps me at the end of my seat, PLEASE give it another season, I wont miss an episode “PROMISE”
I hope it doesn’t get cancelled I really enjoy it and it reminds me so much of American Gladiator
It is a great show, very fun to watch. Please keep it going.
We watched the first show. Were willing to watch a second time but felt it was a dud. The competitions were fun to watch but there is no way the amateur athlete will ever beat the pros. We won’t miss it when it’s cancelled.
Pull it off the air. Most of the defenders are not likeable and the rope climb is no rope climb at all. Forget using the counter weight, have a real rope climb that doesn’t need to be that high.
I was looking forward to seeing million dollar mile tonight April 10th, wasn’t this the correct day. I am very disappointed the show was not on. I really like the show, don’t cancel it!!!
I love this show please don’t cancel
I like the show. Let’s get some real competition – let’s see American Ninja Warriors on that course !!
I love “ Million Dollar Mile”. It is so exciting to wat h. Being chased makes it very interesting. Please do not cancel it.
I’m not a big fan of reality TV since we all know it’s not really reality! I didn’t even watch the night it started! So sorry if it’s a show you love
I’m Anti-Lebron, so I’m glad the show is a flop.
I have seen both episodes and I like them both. I hope that it hasn’t been cancelled. I think it needs a chance. I will continue to watch. Please, please don’t cancel it.
Hello! I’ve watched it once. Very cool idea and personally quite liked it (obce), however with the pro athlete, regulars don’t have much of a chance. In addition, with the 1:1 raceoff there is a lack of unique variable multi person/group dynamics, element of surprise or adventure variables, so I can see why ratings are low. I am a group dynamics psychologist and adventure-based team building facilitator, so I naturally think of what attracts me and possibly others to such reality based shows. Goodluck in evolving it. Cheers!
I really don’t care about the show because I never even watched it either.
How can you say that you don’t care for a show you have never watched?
There are lots of shows I dont care for cause I never watch them. All the more reason I dont care for them.
