What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FX cable channel in the United States, Mr Inbetween was created by its star, Scott Ryan, and comes from Australia. The series also stars Kenny Graham, Chika Yasumura, Justin Rosniak, Matt Nable, Damon Herriman, Jeremy Sims, and Emily Barclay. In the series, Ray Shoesmith (Ryan) has many roles — as a father, an ex-husband, a boyfriend, caretaker to a sick brother, and a best friend. His life is further complicated because Ray also happens to be a criminal-for-hire. In season three, Ray’s world has contracted. Family life looks a little different as he quietly mourns the loss of Bruce, while figuring out how to care for his aging father, Bill (Graham). As Brittany (Yasumura) grows into a young woman, she draws further away from Ray and comes closer to discovering the truth about who he really is. Things seem good with Gary (Rosniak) and Dave (Nable), however, since severing ties with former boss and confidant Freddy (Herriman), Ray is working freelance and feeling a sense of isolation. With business booming, a new connection with criminal kingpin Rafael (Sims) intensifies Ray’s struggle and when sparks fly with new colleague Zoe (Barclay), an unexpected tragedy makes Ray question both his career trajectory and his ethics.

Please resurrect mr inbetween
Please season 4 Mr in-between
It’s a great show. Don’t leave us hanging!!
Come on you can’t leave it there. We want more Ray..
What a great show, why are all the good shows canceled? I know ratings are needed to pay the bills, but one thing that doesn’t reflect good ratings is how I watch. I hate watching a new show right when it premiers Nothing worse than waiting a whole week to watch the next episode. I like waiting for a show to have at least 3 seasons before I invest my time. Then like everyone else, I stream and binge the whole thing. Best way to experience a series. Mr. Inbetween was one of the best shows I’ve watched in a… Read more »
Best program I’ve seen in years.great acting, writing, characters,…just wonderful!!!
I just finished this series and demand to have it renewed. It was unique and special. I binged it in a week!
I’m to mentally bummed
Great show : I can watch 5 more seasons easy. RAY HAS A lot left to do.. Come the FX make it happen
Please bring back Mr. Inbetween season 4 that’s a damn shame that’s a good show.
Why cancel such a brilliantly written, humorous, yet dark show. Mr inbetween would surely have great ratings if picked up by an Australian network TV channel.
I’m bitterly disappointed. Loved Ray & Gary. Great Aussie show 🙁
i am heartbroken that this series is over. This is on my top 5 shows ever. Ray’s snarling smile is magnificant !
One of my very few fav shows. So much more could be done here. Yet vacuous shows go on in perpetuity. Another reason to dump cable.
Give Me Inbetween a chance!! Why stop at season 3 especially with a cliffhanger like that? And most importantly, if the show has many financial ways to continue, let it. A LOT of Australian shows never last longer than 3-4 season’s due to their budgets which are pocket change compared to the astronomical amount just the American actor’s alone make per episode of a show. There’s much that can be done here and there needs to be more international/ Australian shows !!
Omg!!! I am ******* pissed!!! WHY WHY WHY Do They Always Cancel THE BEST, Most Interesting Shows!!! Dear Scott, Mr. Inbetween is one of the most amazing and interesting shows I’ve watched in years. I’m 59 and I love All of it. Great writing!! I’m so disappointed I can’t take it. I seriously was thinking in the 8th episode of season 3, how fantastic it would be to make several movies out of the series. The possibilities are Endless with “Rays” character. As A Number 1 Fan Of The Show, Dear God, bring it back or another streaming station PLEASE… Read more »
have you watched “The Magician” that this show is based off of? We are planning to watch it tonight. Ray has the sexiest I’m going to kill you smile ever! When he turned around to the clowns in his car with that smile I was like “oh heck yes!!!” and the sound bite at the endwasperfection.
Absolutely love the show. My whole family watched with great anticipation to see what Ray would do next. Always looked forward to the next episode. Loved the creative writing and sadly, it will be missed. I hope the show will be picked back up to continue Ray’s saga.
