For the first time, CBS has scheduled NCIS: Los Angeles on Monday nights — without strong lead-in NCIS and opposite The Blacklist and Castle. The show’s ratings declined last season. Will they fall further or miraculously start to grow? Cancelled or renewed for a seventh season? Stay tuned.
Based in the City of Angels, NCIS: Los Angeles follows the members of an elite division of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), one that specializes in undercover assignments. This drama stars Chris O’Donnell, LL Cool J, Linda Hunt, Daniela Ruah, Eric Christian Olsen, Barrett Foa, Renée Felice Smith, and Miguel Ferrer.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/12 update: CBS has renewed NCIS: Los Angeles for a seventh season.
Final season averages: 1.60 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.28 million total viewers.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Due to a Nielsen glitch, some of the early ratings of the 2014-15 season were revised a few weeks later.
For comparisons: The fifth season of NCIS: Los Angeles averaged a 2.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 14.84 million total viewers.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you still like the NCIS: Los Angeles TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a seventh season?
Please keep NCIS LA going…. love the show…. if there is a new NCIS LA show on, I marked myself as “unavailable to work” — hence, I work Sunday pm’s in summer but NEVER on a Sunday night during a new season!!! Have to have my “Deeks” fix to get through my week! I also enjoy the repeats! Keep the new shows coming. I seriously would stop watching CBS if they cancel my favorite show NCIS LA…..
This is the best show ever DO NOT CANCEL IT I REPEAT DO NOT CANCEL IT. One of the most interesting shows I’ve ever watched.. & I barely watch television as it is
I would really hate to see this cancelled. I enjoy the cast and their relationships in the show. The plots are very interesting, in other words, I don’t get up during the entire show! I watch very few shows on TV, but this is one of my favorites. Please keep it on. By the way I have all of the DVDs of this show so that when I do want to watch TV, nothing good on, I have them at my finger tips!
best show ever great characters do not cancel
We are very attached, loyal viewers of NCIS LA.
Every character has way too much talent to every leave this show, it has become a fine-tuned patriotic program, which is highly needed at this time.
The show has class, is not the usual load of liberal agendas
being crammed down peoples throats.
If you take this away, thousands of Americans will boycott
programs that have beome insulting to the intelligence of
a fan base that actually use their brains.
I don’t mind Monday programming, but seriously, please listen to the wishes of the majority. DO Not take NCIS LA away!!
Please keep NCIS, Los Angels with
the original cast.
I absolutely love NCIS Los Angeles, the new one new orleans is awful. The actors are not even close to the other 2 NCIS shows. I tried to watch it and I absolutely do not like it. I feel it was very unfair to put Los angeles on Monday night, I loved having a night of NCIS and NCIS LA , what a POWERFUL evening.. I don’t understand how NCIS New Orleans was continued for another season. PLEASE keep NCIS LA. and original NCIS, they have strong characters and very likable characters, and are believable. Thank You
NCIS Los Angeles has the best show
it would crazy if you don’t renew the
show because it has a drama
also the family enjoys the show
can’t until next week.
Please don’ t cancel the best cop show on TV! The cast works so well together. I hate the new pyscho type shows coming out& vampires! Seriously? Aren’t we smarter than this?
excellent show, keep it running.
Best ever keep it going better then 95% of what is on Tv Give us a break Soon nothing to watch
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SHOW! Could not get into New Orleans (never watched it on its own barely could get thru the cross over ep)…don’t think it was fair to NCIS LA to move it to Monday to accommodate New Orleans. Maybe since N.O. is settling, move that to Monday
Love the characters and the humor they all bring! This is my FAVORITE SHOW-CBS better not pull a bone head move with this show like they did with Stalker!
We love ncis:los angeles. We have watched it from the first season and watch it every week. We like the story lines and the reaction between actors. Love each f the actors. Linda Hunt is so quick witted. She makes the show fun. Alo the actors blend and react so well together. We wouod miss the show very much.
I agree with you 100%, excellent interaction between the well-chosen characters.
Stalker was the best new show of the season. Here is the reality. A lot of stalkers terrorize people in this country. This show brought to light the reality of this crime. This show was well written and the cast was perfect m. It is clear that the executives at CBS don’t have a clue.
Love NCIS LA and hope they continue to air it seeing as its now the only good NCIS that they have new orleans sucks and the original NCIS turned to trash the second they let bishop take over. They really do need to reveal more about callens mysterious past though.
