Is Parks and Recreation making a comeback? Recently, star Jim O’Heir spoke with Entertainment Weekly about reuniting the NBC TV show.
The sitcom stars Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Aziz Ansari, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, and Retta as the employees of the Pawnee, Indiana Parks & Recreation department. The series ran on NBC for seven seasons before ending in 2015.
Speaking to EW, O’Heir said he would do “whatever it took” to go back to Parks and Recreation:
We wanted to go out with people still wanting us there. … The love and the laughter of that show was every day for 7 seasons. So would I go back? Whatever it took. Whatever it took! Though, next time I would be the lead and Amy Poehler could do craft services. My character would at this point be called Marty — I don’t know why.”
What do you think? Are you a fan of Parks and Recreation? Would you watch a reunion of the NBC series?
In other news, Gunther is ready for a Friends reunion.
Just kidding, Perry.
