It looks like Penn Zero is retiring. It’s been announced that the Disney XD series Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero has been cancelled after two seasons.
Created by Sam Levine and Jared Bush, the animated series follows Penn Zero, a young boy who takes up his parents’ job as a part-time superhero. The voice cast includes Thomas Middleditch, Adam DeVine, Alfred Molina, Tania Gunadi, and Larry Wilmore.
Levine revealed the cancellation news on his Tumblr, saying new episodes will still air through 2017:
I’m making this announcement to let you know that the second season of Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero will be the final season of the series.
We are finishing up the story we began telling in 2014. New episodes will air through 2017, leading up to our series finale. I’m really excited for you all to see our big, bombastic, super funny, visually purty, exponentially musical, big-time exciting and emotionally everything season 2.”
He also thanked the fans for their devotion to the show:
The most exciting part of making this show has been to see it resonate with an audience. To know you dig what we put into the universe is honestly the biggest gift. We made this stuff for you. And you’re inspired and make your own stuff because of what we did. And that truly inspires me. Thank you all.”

Penn Zero is one of my best cartoons ever. Pls do not end Penn Zero. We want to watch the phase two. All people and kids depends on Penn Zero.

We are all sad, no episodes of his parents fighting with him, no continue from the “second phase” no drama, no more anything. Season 2 ending makes no sense without a continue 🙁

I am super extremely sad that the series is discontinued and I wish there would be more episodes I would really appreatite if the owners could sell the series and the new owners could make more episodes and I think many people agree with me

Penn Zero needs a season 3 that ending, I want more like what happened to Sashi and Penn or like what missions do then go on and also what is phase two we need to know.
I know i finally got to watch the last episode. This is not fair we need to know what phase 2 is. Some sort of reality altering destiny the team must face to save all of existance and others realities. Rather then just other multiverses. We the fans must know
