Please bring it back. We need this in your life’s more than ever
my husband and I were very disappointed when TBS decided not to run the 3rd season of People of Earth. The writing, the humor and the characters were all fresh and original. We don’t watch much TV, but POE was one we enjoyed regularly and we now own the DVDs. When last we saw the Star Cross members, they were strapped to gurneys on the space ship. Such a shame that we will never know what happens to them; so many burning questions-how do they escape? Does Don get Eric out of his mind and get back w/Kelly? Whose baby… Read more »
This was a show I never would of thought would get cancelled after just two seasons. It really is to bad, I mean with all the alien and outer space stuff going on right now like Ancient Aliens and the whole Area 51 thing it’s a huge topic to cash in on. What made this show great was that it was a comedy and a rather funny one at that. I think it’s something that could have done great the further it went and also helped with bringing a little humor to an issue that probably scares some people, the… Read more »
I was so looking forward to season 3.
Such a shame they cancelled it. Very disappointing.
People of Earth was refreshing and family friendly. What a shame that it was cancelled.
Based on reading these comments, a lot of people are being brought together to watch this show. So wouldn’t the amount of people viewing go down if more people were all huddled in one living room like the old days instead of watching it alone? TBS you have to look at things outside of artifical numbers beamed from a guestimate of who’s tuning in. These are the most genuine comments I have seen in a long time. And on top of that there was a comment about reptilians in here that was coherent! I’m devistated. This was the realist thing… Read more »
We loved tis show and have been waiting patiently. I was wondering what happened and just saw it’s renewal was reversed. We are so sad!!!
It was one of the best shows on tv! How stupid of tbs to cancel it! Typical though, most of the best and smartest shows get cancelled. They need to fire the idiot that made this decision!
Why can’t POE just be picked up by network?
Very disappointed. Should not be surprised though. These execs are clueless. Nelson ratings are a joke. What other shows do people watch on TBS? This was really one of the best shows on network TV. The networks are clueless. Fox Dropped Lucifer which was picked up by Netflix … So fortunate for that. Smart move. This would be another smart move. Netflix campaign anyone? I’ll sign a petition!
I would to sign up! I know this is a bit late.
I can’t believe it; one of the best shows on TV, gone again! What are those crazy weirdos at the networks thinking when they rip the best shows off the air? I hope they have dreams of deer heads…
I hate to come to this conclusion (but I must) that the executives in charge of taking this show off the air at TBS are a bunch of reptilian ********. I’m completely devastated to hear this news and am praying that another network picks them up for season 3!
That blows! That’s an awesome show. Just one more good show canceled. Making more room for the ******** and remakes.
I would like to see a lawsuit filed against all these television companies that start shows get people hooked then rip them away with no ending. I would like to sue for my time that they have waisted!!!
Too bad, People of Earth was a light, campy, weird show, that was great for the summer. To bad that it wasn’t renewed. Not to much left for me to watch on TBS, I thought they were making a run to be original, Oh Well
