The Pioneer Woman has started filming a new season. Production has begun at Ree Drummond’s home in Osage County, Oklahoma.
Food Network released a press statement detailing the new season. Check that out below.
“Pacific Productions, an independent television production company working on behalf of Food Network, and the Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO) are proud to announce the start of production on a new season of the hit Oklahoma-based show “The Pioneer Woman”. The series is utilizing the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program administered by OF+MO, and will begin principal photography in mid-July in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.
“The Pioneer Woman” is hosted by award-winning blogger and best-selling cookbook author Ree Drummond and is shot on location at her family’s Osage County ranch. “The Pioneer Woman” serves up real-life stories of people living and ranching in Oklahoma and delicious recipes that range from cowboy favorites to fast family meals and big spreads for easy entertaining.
“We are thrilled to be the production company behind ‘The Pioneer Woman’. Ree is fantastic and filming in Oklahoma has been a real joy for the entire production team working on the show,” said Carl Green of Pacific Productions. “Over several seasons we have been able to reflect the great stories and real-life action of life on a ranch in Oklahoma and the historically rich surrounding areas and community as well as showcase Ree’s wonderful recipes and accessible style of cooking, meal-planning and casual entertaining. ‘The Pioneer Woman’ is a huge success around the world and we are honored to make a program that showcases the very best of what Oklahoma has to offer. “
‘On behalf of the state, it is a privilege to have quality, homegrown talent such as Ree Drummond remain in Oklahoma to unveil new episodes of her hit show The Pioneer Woman this year,’ said OF+MO Director Tava Maloy Sofsky. ‘The Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program has allowed us to build a relationship with Pacific Productions, whose use of the state’s film incentive continues to both build our industry infrastructure with sustainable jobs and support our local businesses, thus enhancing economic impact in the Pawhuska area and southeastern region of the state.’”

I have been cooking for 60 years and I love the Pioneer Woman. I download and try many of her recipes and they are always a hit at my house. I used to have a home bakery in my house when we lived in Ohio. I still like to learn new things. She also has a very lively family. If you need a cake decorator to add to the show, e-mail me.
I love Ree and I look forward to seeing what she has for the new season on her
show. I live in Virginia, and i look for her on TV every day at 1pm thur 2pm.
Yes, I will watch the show. I like the way she cooks so ordinary people, that can’t afford the fancy items or for that matter even pronounce the names of items used by other cooks. The show is very entertaining also, I enjoy the going on’s at the ranch.
I live in Bartlesville Ok ,which is Rees birthplace. I certainly will watch her shows, all of them. I have tried many of her recipes and love them.
I am so proud of this family of hard working people and their heart warming Christian principles. We were blessed to be in Pawhuska in 2/14/18 and to visit the Mercantile and enjoy a Rumcake and coffee. I could have spent more time there and hope to go back someday
