What’s This TV Show About?
A darkly comedic AMC supernatural drama from creators Sam Catlin, Evan Goldberg, and Seth Rogen, Preacher stars Dominic Cooper, Joseph Gilgun, Ruth Negga, Ian Colletti, and Graham McTavish. Noah Taylor, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, Malcolm Barrett, Justin Prentice, and Ronald Guttman join in the second season. AMC teases that Preacher season two follows West Texas preacher Jesse Custer (Cooper), along with his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Negga) and Irish vampire Cassidy (Gilgun) as they take off on a road trip to find God. This thrusts them into a twisted battle spanning Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Preacher averaged a 0.40 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.17 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 36% and down by 30%, respectively. Learn how Preacher stacks up against other AMC TV shows.

Cancel it, it is junk.
Its been over one month since the season 2 finale aired and there’s still no news? How long is AMC going to keep us in suspense?
The show is nothing compared to the comics. Still, I like to think it will get better.
If it gets cancelled, oh well. I can’t say I’d be surprised. But I’d bet money on it getting renewed.

The show is now crap compared to the first season. Nothing but disrespectful, horrible written junk now. Seth Rogan bringing his own political, personal and faith-based opinions, instead of following what could’ve been a great tv show.
CANCEL
Preacher tell and teaches us about self examination and of what we are capable of doing what is right in the face of all the wrongs we are faced with. Because in the end we would like to see ourselfs as heros like Jesse. Let’s go for a third season.
I love preacher, its my all time favorite! Please renew it and keep renewing it till the whole story is told please don’t leave us hanging! I do not Understand why some are complaing about the depiction of Jesus, they knew it was based on a comic book!
Here’s another vote for series renewal!! Preacher’s L’Angell side needs a thorough airing.
Please RENEW Preacher forever but if Tulip doesn’t return for Season 3 the show should be cancelled! Ruth Negga is Awesome as Tulip. She is bad kickass lady of color who adds fire intrigue and anticipation to the program. Tulip consistently steals scenes and adds depth + relevance to Jesse’s character. I am looking forward to Tulip played by Ruth Negga continuing to Set it Off on Preacher!
DEFINITELY renew PREACHER and give us a third season! It is such a dark, romantic and entertaining show and there is absolutely nothing else out there like it…please don’t take it away!!!

Renew this great show. It is the equivalent of any Coen Brothers works which initially i thought it was. LET IT LIVE AND DON’ T LEAVE US HANGING!
Well, I think that the jesus part is essential in the show, as it is in the original comics series (seriously it’s a great thing worth reading, but kinda diffrent from AMC’s Preacher), cause without it Starr wouldn’t need a savior in the character of Jessie Custer. Btw. I suppose that a show about preacher chasing god, who ran out of heaven, and for a moment was sitting in the back of a bar wearing a dog-suit is not one of this christians liking shows. Love this show..its one of the best shows ive been interested in, in a long time..please renew..it would be unfair to not continue it..
I get excited as hell for Monday nights with Jesse Custer and Cassidy kicking ass and cracking jokes, and spend my whole Monday day smiling because it’s on later that night, definitely renew, for season 3, and beyond!!!
I too was upset with episode about Jesus. But I still can’t stop watching Preacher. I hope that they won’t show something like that again or I will have to stop watching it.
