What’s This TV Show About?
An ION comedy-drama based on the G.B Joyce novel, The Code, Private Eyes stars Jason Priestly, Cindy Sampson, Ennis Esmer, Barry Flatman, Jordyn Negri, and Clé Bennett. Bree Williamson, Mark Ghanimé, and Samantha Wan recur in the second season. The series centers on former professional hockey player Matt Shade (Priestly), who first teams up with formidable P.I. Angie Everett (Sampson), to solve the mystery of why a top hockey prospect dropped on the ice. Although they’re both fierce competitors who have different outlooks on life, Angie and Matt soon find that together, they form an unbeatable partnership.
As of November 24, 2024, Private Eyes has not been cancelled or renewed for a third season on ION but it has been renewed in Canada. Stay tuned for further updates.

As with the first season of Private Eyes on ION, American viewers tune into the sophomore installment, knowing it has already been renewed for a third season on Global Television, in Canada. I think the US is done. It was supposed to be back in April!
Will be terribly disappointed if Private Eyes is not renewed on Ion. It’s good original programming.

Ion should broadcast new episodes. The network has shown seasons 1 & 2 repeatedly.
I’m guessing that ION did not extend its rights to this show beyond the second season. The fact that they are not even showing re-runs anymore leaves me to believe they need a new agreement. Season 4 started in Canada this week!
I suspect you’re right. I’ve asked about season 3 a few times on the ION Facebook page, and no one replies.

Private eyes Is missed this season .The relationship between the two main characters as it evolves add to the the third seasons interest The daughter, her grandfather and his business parter add to this great show If canceled it will be missed . Much better show than the OLD RE RUNS now being shown
I hope this show comes back on ION for season 3. I really liked it, but I got tired of watching the same reruns over and over from the first two seasons; especially the stolen octopus episode. It’s very strange that the show has been renewed for season 4, but we still can’t get season 3 here in the US. I wonder what’s going on.

I love this show!! Please bring it to ION so we can see it in the US. You left us with a cliffhanger in season two, it would just be mean not to renew it for us.
I agree they need to bring it back. It feels like a lot of my Canadian shows it gets pulled away.
I would love to see atleast 1 more season. It left off with a cliffhanger and I really would like to see that resolved. It’s a good show and they are very good together. If Canada is getting a next season, surely we will also get it.
