Airing on Friday nights, Proven Innocent stars Rachelle Lefevre, Kelsey Grammer, Russell Hornsby, Vincent Kartheiser, Nikki M. James, Riley Smith, and Clare O’Connor. The series centers on Madeline Scott (Lefevre), a resolute lawyer on a lifelong quest for justice. When she was just 18, Madeline was wrongfully convicted of murder, along with her brother, Levi (Smith). Now she and her partner (and former defense attorney), Easy Boudreau (Hornsby), lead an underdog defense team, dedicated to overturning unjust convictions. Meanwhile, Gore Bellows (Grammer), the prosecutor who once put her away, is determined to return her to prison.
The first season of Proven Innocent on FOX averaged a 0.40 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.01 million viewers. Compared to the other FOX TV shows of the 2018-19 season, Proven Innocent ranks 16th of 16 scripted series.
The season (now series) finale of Proven Innocent aired last night.

enjoyed this show and wanted to find out why Gore had it in for Madeline. Seems a bit bizarre that he kept on with this case. I havent watched the last episode yet so maybe it is answered. And that couple who were so angry at Levi. What was that about?

I too loved this show but the gay crap turned me off. I would have watched another season if that had been eliminated.
The show is great, but I have to agree the gay stuff was ridicules. Bring it back for another season and leave that gay junk out of it! We need shows like this, so people open their eyes and truly realize how much wrongful convictions DO happen. Judges, Prosecutors and even some defense attorneys are dirty and would just as soon sell someone down the river, if it’ll expand their career. I can’t believe Proven Innocent is canceled! It’s sad that all the great shows get axed after the first season.

Total crap. Every new show I get involved with has been cancelled. I may be better off waiting for a series to announce “this will be our last season” (like Supernatural), because then I know they will have a PLANNED ENDING! I would rather binge watch a show to “catch up” than be left hanging!
