What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the USA Network cable channel, Queen of the South stars Alice Braga, Hemky Madera, Peter Gadiot, and Molly Burnett. The story follows Teresa Mendoza (Braga), a poor woman from Mexico on the run from a powerful drug cartel, who seeks refuge in the United States. She eventually rises to power, operating her own drug-trafficking empire. In season five, Teresa finally embraces her Queenpin status and all that comes with it. While she’s tried to maintain a strong moral code and lead with her heart, those values have begun to compromise her ability to stay on top. Now, Teresa must make tough decisions when it comes to those closest to her, all while continuing her quest for even more power.
Season Five Ratings
The fifth season of Queen of the South averaged a 0.19 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 708,000 viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 33% in the demo and down by 23% in viewership. Find out how Queen of the South stacks up against other USA Network TV shows.

Queen of the south is my absolute fav they need snow tha product back that should be season 6? Her taking the ropes for Theresa and maybe her finally finding some solace and settling down with occasional revisits. Queen of the west snowy!!!
I am terribly upset that there won’t be a season 6 n am truly praying they will change their minds n keep the show going it’s truly n awesome show n in my book ranks n the top 5 series I have watched so keep it going please!!!!
Please bring Queen of the South back!!!! It’s a great show!!! Fans patiently waited through the pandemic for Season 5 just to be told this is the last season…not cool…It’s always sad to lose a good TV program…I hope Queen’s writers and producers reconsider…
I love this show . I am a die hard for every single person and there character. U couldn’t ever ask for a better cast. U couldn’t get any other to play there roles. 100 they need to continue with the series. Brenda florea
I love Queen of the South, ratings probably went down because we have to wait so long for up coming season that people are getting frustrated, just as much as I’m getting by network constantly canceling the great shows an series.. I’m disabled and bedridden and im tired of my shows constantly being canceled whilethe no good shows remain on.
I would be very happy if Queen of the South had another season I am anxious to watch it again.
Keep Queen of the South!!!! Start reruns like every other show!!! The show is amazing and La Reina del sol is also amazing!!!! Queen of the South is the only show I watch on USA anymore, we want more seasons!!!!
Hi, I am a fan also. But this show never got the airtime it deserved. Season four could have been much better. The first three were great. If the Network would give the new seasonal shows as much time as reruns of Law and Order. And Chicago P.D just maybe it could have a chance. These shows are on all day every day. On various channels. Start showing the new shows and not at 12am. Thankyou

I was exited that this show came back and sad at the same time finding out from posts that this was the last season, a very short season (too short, like 10 episodes). That is why I don’t like watching TV series, they can cancel it at any time and leave you at a cliffhanger. Not like movies where they have an ending unless there’s a sequel. But just sad this comes to the season ending.
