It looks like Harry’s time on Earth is coming to a close. At least, the part of it that viewers will see. According to TV Insider, Chris Sheridan, the creator of the sci-fi drama, has revealed that season four will conclude the series.
Alan Tudyk, Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund, Levi Fiehler, Judah Prehn, and Elizabeth Bowen star in the series, which follows the journey of an alien after he arrives on Earth.
Sheridan said the following about ending Resident Alien, which airs on Syfy and USA Network this season:
“I knew going into it that this was likely going to be our final season. Creatively, that was exciting because I knew we could spend the time wrapping up some storylines and driving toward an ending. I’m so proud of how good Season 4 is and especially proud that we were able to finish as strongly as we did, with a finale that is probably my favorite episode of the series.”
Resident Alien will air its finale on August 8th.

I have loved Resident Alien. But USA/UNIVERSAL tried to cut costs this season and it shows. Not as funny or as much fun as previous seasons. Too bad as Asta, Darcy, and Jay are excellent. Same with Kate who is a surprise every episode. And Sheriff Mike with his deputy art hilarious. Harry is the best. I even like the grown up Max & Sahar. And the goofy mayor. Please Chris Sheridan….please find a way to not Cancel ‘Resident Alien’. Many people love this show and look forward to watching every Friday night. This show is a winner and it Needs to keep going. It will help people in the future when Real ET Contact comes to the people of the Earth. Please do not cancel this show! Maybe there is another Channel that will take ‘Resident Alien’ out there? This is the SyFy channel and it does not surprise me at all………. Warehouse 13 and Eureka were AWESOME SHOWA that were taken off the air by SYFY and for the life of me I can not understand why they did it and now Resident Alien ?????? PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHERE THEIR HEDS ARE FOR EVERYTIME SYFY GETS AN AWESOME SHOW THEY TOSS IT AWAY ???????
Typical. A great show gets started and the scum cancel it. There is so much crap on tv and they go on forever (it seems). Any show that inspires is cancelled. Reminds me of Timeless, a great show the educated and imagination but was cancelled.

This is the SyFy channel and it does not surprise me at all. They did it to Dark Matter and Kill Joys, they did it to the Stargate franchise, they did it to the Invisible Man, they did it to Warehouse 13 and Eureka, they did it to Defiance. For a channel with SciFi in its name, they are the worst at supporting Sci Fi shows. Their people in charge should never be allowed to make decisions on content for the channel. These shows have expensive special effects. Hard to pay for with miserable ratings.

Seems the show had another tone before, they bring back the girl, i remember that she leaves the show, i saw it til the second season, so many changes in the middle of the season , scenes that do not add up, story lines that don’t fit.
Just as it deserves, it’s been running on fumes since mid season 2 and the fall of viewership and just got away with the last season by a hair. Good riddance

This is BS something finally is on tv worth watching and of course it get canceled, I don’t understand why this is done,its a very good show and I know im not the only one that thinks so. Its getting so bad its not worth turning the damn tv on.
It’s all I watch on tv other than sports or news. Bring Harry back!
