What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Salvation stars Santiago Cabrera, Jennifer Finnigan, Charlie Rowe, Jacqueline Byers, Rachel Drance, Shazi Raja, and Ian Anthony Dale. This suspense thriller follows MIT graduate student Liam Cole (Rowe) and tech genius Darius Tanz (Cabrera). Because they don’t want to cause public panic, the two present Pentagon Press Secretary, Grace Barrows (Finnigan), with evidence that in six months, a huge asteroid will crash into the Earth. Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary of Defense Harris Edwards (Dale) is running the D.O.D.’s top-secret operation to deflect the asteroid. At the same time, Darius is working with Jillian (Byers), a rookie science fiction writer, on a different approach to save humanity.

Salvation premiered with low ratings and they’ve gotten even worse. Unless CBS has made enough deals to cover a good amount of the costs for this series, I would be shocked if this series came back for a second season.Subscribe for free updates on any cancellation and renewal news.

This show doesnt sound like much until you watch it, even the first episode is only OK…but it picks up, just keep watching and you get hooked. I really hope they push for more seasons. Keep it alive guys!

Please keep Salvation. I have been intrigued since the first episode. Too many questions have not been answered. I love the characters and even though the asteroid is coming I am more interested in the corruption in the White House.
Absolutely, this series should be renewed. Amazing story, great acting, and a very current subject. Will the world be saved? Will Grace and Darius love grow stronger? Please don’t end this series without these questions answered!

It’s a great show that SHOULD be renewed. First, as an amateur astronomer, I find the premise of a potential catastrophe caused near-Earth asteroid totally acceptable. And with the different types of those miscellaneous bodies out there, it’s totally possible for an iron-core one to be headed our way. Second, those who say the science is way off, yeah, but not totally. Hell, you people want every science movie to be like the boring high school science classes you hated so much. I truly hope CBS does not cancel Salvation. It is an excellent show. Captivating actors/actresses, a GREAT story line, and something that anyone who is watching can connect to. A BRILLIANT message that life is fragile and you never know what can happen or when. So love hard and live fully. It was aired during the summer and summer shows never do well (people like to be busy and outside, vacationing, etc.). Great show! Interesting story line and good casting. Would love to see it come back! (Maybe the name turned people away. I almost didn’t start watching it ‘cuz I thought it would be another creepy paranormal show.)
I want a second season! This show Is very well done. Great writing and acting should be rewarded .
