CBS has cancelled its Scorpion TV show after four seasons. The season, which began with a musical episode, weill be this series’ swan song.
A CBS action drama, Scorpion stars Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kay Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham, Robert Patrick, Riley B. Smith, Andy Buckley, Jamie McShane, Joshua Leonard, Dan Dratch, and Scott Porter. Inspired by a real-life computer expert, the series centers on Walter O’Brien (Gabel) and his team of brilliant misfits. Team Scorpion is the country’s last line of defense against lurking high-tech threats.
Scorpion: A Look at the Ratings
The fourth season of Scorpion is averaging a 0.81 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.26 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by about 32% and down by 27%, respectively. By both measures, Scorpion is consistently among the lowest rated scripted CBS TV shows.
All told, today CBS cancelled two TV shows: Superior Donuts and Scorpion. The network also renewed five series: Criminal Minds (season 14); Man With a Plan (season three); Life in Pieces (season four); Instinct (season two); and Big Brother: Celebrity Edition (season two).
UPDATE: CBS has cancelled Kevin Can Wait and has renewed Elementary for season seven.
Deadline has confirmed the Scorpion cancellation.

We love Scorpion…there’s action every week. Keep in mind, a lot of people tape shows and then ‘binge’ watch. With the new technology the ratings are pretty hard to believe. Have you seen the show!!!!!
Totally disgusted that CBS would end such a good show. I am surprised that no other network would pick it up.
Sorry that the show ended. Why not a season 5 with happt endings. Another show with not a good ending. So sad.
Scorpion was one of the most satisfying shows on TV. There was mystery, drama, romance and humor. The cast covered a variety of ages and actually presented real science in an entertaining way. So, of course it is cancelled. It was good. Maybe another network will pick it up or CBS will re-think this bad decision. CBS is the channel that has the greatest number of shows that I watch, so this cancellation really disappoints me as I thought that CBS was a channel that I could respect for the quality of its shows. Guess not.

Please someone pick up! This was one of my favorites, characters were fun and with all the blood, guts and violence taking over stations this was refreshing, sometimes serious, and always amusing!

This is a wonderful family show that isn’t full of all the crap (you all know what I’m referring to), that most “popular” tv shows spew out in abundance.
Please pull that genius move and save Team scorpion (a good moral television show) from ending before its time, and make a lot of now sad followers very happy!
I Love Scorpion it is one of my favorite shows I was in tears when I heard the news….I hope Netflix will pick it up…..I have all the season’s on DVD and was so looking forward to season 5 all I know is I’m So disappointed that there will be NO season 5…..PLEASE NETFLIX PICK THIS SERIES UP IT’S ONE OF THE GREATEST SHOWS ON TV

Not Happy with this, CBS might have lost a loyal Viewer. Hope they come to there sences. This was the show i couldn’t wait to see every Monday.

Its sad that it ended on that note. Feel Walter, Paige and Ralph should have ended up together. The whole Florence plot left a bad taste in my mouth.
It is a huge disappiontment that it has been cancelled.
