CBS has cancelled its Scorpion TV show after four seasons. The season, which began with a musical episode, weill be this series’ swan song.
A CBS action drama, Scorpion stars Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kay Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham, Robert Patrick, Riley B. Smith, Andy Buckley, Jamie McShane, Joshua Leonard, Dan Dratch, and Scott Porter. Inspired by a real-life computer expert, the series centers on Walter O’Brien (Gabel) and his team of brilliant misfits. Team Scorpion is the country’s last line of defense against lurking high-tech threats.
Scorpion: A Look at the Ratings
The fourth season of Scorpion is averaging a 0.81 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.26 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by about 32% and down by 27%, respectively. By both measures, Scorpion is consistently among the lowest rated scripted CBS TV shows.
All told, today CBS cancelled two TV shows: Superior Donuts and Scorpion. The network also renewed five series: Criminal Minds (season 14); Man With a Plan (season three); Life in Pieces (season four); Instinct (season two); and Big Brother: Celebrity Edition (season two).
UPDATE: CBS has cancelled Kevin Can Wait and has renewed Elementary for season seven.
Deadline has confirmed the Scorpion cancellation.

Bring scorpion back!!! That was a good show and a crappy way to end it! Make some changes to storyline and entice viewers. Even though we thought it was good until team started fighting against each other
There are so many ways they could have made that last episode a good (happy) end-of-series episode… Was this a sudden, last minute decision? Is it too late to change it?
It is a crapy ending and it didn’t have to be. Very, VERY disappointing (I mean, season 3 would have been a better ending!!!)
Bad move CBS! Scorpion had lousy lead in shows … heck even my wife was starting to get into the series. … hope another network picks it up
I truly enjoyed Scorpion and wished they would have at least had one more season or 2 hour show to wrap up the story lines. Thank you CBS for letting the show end with all the parties at odds with each other.
Was ****** up ending. they should do 5th season with atleast 10Episodes or a movie as an ending
the ending is literally the whole team breaking apart completly and just every one hates walter for some thing he didnt do and wasnt aware of

I understand that shows end but the end of season 4 with them splitting up was not cool. We need another season so they can end on a happy note.

Please bring back Scorpion! It was the only thing that made Mondays bearable. I loved to watch the team in action. It was great entertainment. They could bring it back with both new teams failing separately and they could reform scorpion. The blond could get a great new job offer in Washington or something.
