Even though, during the last couple of seasons, the Scorpion TV show has dropped off significantly in the ratings, CBS has opted not to cancel it. The fourth season — which kicks off with a musical episode — will provide this action drama with a decent sized syndication package. Could it spell the end? Will Scorpion cancelled or renewed for season five? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
Inspired by the life of a real computer expert, Scorpion stars Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kay Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham, Robert Patrick, Riley B. Smith, Andy Buckley, Jamie McShane, Joshua Leonard, Dan Dratch, and Scott Porter.
On the CBS series, Walter O’Brien (Gabel) and his team of brilliant misfits are the country’s last line of defense against lurking high-tech threats. As Team Scorpion, these members of Homeland Security’s think tank solve the nation’s crises, even as they help one other on their quest to fit in. At the start of season four, they find themselves working with their nemesis, Mark Collins (Leonard), to prevent the extinction of the human race. Meanwhile, Walter and Paige (McPhee) feel awkward as they try to navigate their new relationship.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The third season of Scorpion averaged a 1.20 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 7.23 million total viewers (live + same day ratings).
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.

Massive following here.
Program makers have the right recipe for a great TVshow.
Please don’t cancel it.
I like the challenging problems that the team deals with. I always learn something from the show or something to learn about.
The interpersonal problems generally promote positive messages to problems we all deal with.
Please keep show, it is very entertaining.
Scorpion became my favorite TV show as soon as it debuted. I guess I am a nerd at heart. While my IQ cannot match Walter’s it is pretty good and I can see myself being part of the team. Hopefully, CBS will renew the show for at least one more season.
I hope CBS renews Scorpion! The 9 o’clock time slot is late and may account for the drop in ratings. Do to my schedule I can’t watch it when it airs; but, I do have it set to record.
Please keep this show going I love it
Please renew Scorpion I love the show and I really hope that Paige and Walter get back together
