What’s in store for Netflix’s new series? Recently, the streaming service released new photos from their upcoming TV show She’s Gotta Have It, Deadline reports.
Based on Spike Lee’s 1986 film, the comedy-drama centers on “Nola Darling (DeWanda Wise), a Brooklyn-based sexually liberated, free-spirited painter/mixed media artist in her late 20s struggling to define herself and divide her time amongst her friends, her job and her three lovers.” The cast also includes Anthony Ramos, Cleo Anthony, Lyriq Bent, Sydney Morton, and Kim Director.
She’s Gotta Have It premieres on Netflix on November 23rd.

With all due respect to Netflix… (a wonderful producer of content), this series CLEARLY deserves to be seen upon a conventional MAINSTREAM network. I even saw the original Spike Lee film itself and that was a truly awesome film in its own right…. Speaking of Mr. Lee and his great masterworks… I do hope some of the Executive Producers and Writers out there are in fact reading this blast and comments section as well, yes I do understand about legal policies on concepts and ideas (I’m in the business myself…) but while on the subject chain itself… Do The Right… Read more »
