What’s This TV Show About?
A USA Network action drama, Shooter stars Ryan Phillippe, Omar Epps, Shantel VanSanten, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, and Jesse Bradford. Based on Stephen Hunter’s novel, Point of Impact, and the 2007 Mark Wahlberg film, Shooter centers on expert marksman Bob Lee Swagger (Phillippe). Despite being retired and living in exile, Swagger is coaxed back into action for the most important mission of his lifetime. In the third season, he discovers details surrounding his father’s death, which lead toward a shocking conspiracy.
Season Three Ratings

Will USA Network cancel or renew Shooter for season four? The ratings are way down but it’s still a middle-of-the-road performer for the channel. I think it will be renewed but they could easily cancel it instead. I’ll keep an eye on the ratings and update this page with breaking developments. This was a HORRIBLE way to end the show!! We NEED a season 4 so that Bob Lee can have closure and a good reason to go on. PLEASE give us a season 4!!
Season 3 had a HORRIBLE end and just can’t be the end of the story! We need justice for Bob Lee – we NEED a season 4 to wrap up the loose ends. What a terrible disappointment!!!
I was so disappointed that SHOOTER was canceled. The best shows are always first to go. Ryan P was awesome in this series. A very impressive comeback for Ryan. I was so impressed by him in shooter. If shooter is canceled then put him in another action packed series cause he definitely deserves it. I personally waited for season 3 to be on Netflix so i didn’t have to wait a week to watch another episode. What are the rating on Netflix? Please do a season 4..

Yes, I am really hoping Shooter gets renewed for Season 4. It is such a great show, and I find it difficult to believe they want to cancel it
I have to say that Shooter was definitely a good series and would like to continue being aired. Definitely upset that it was cancelled and is in debate of being renewed. Hopefully it gets revisited and is aired for a fourth season.
The TV show was a great show it had a good ending in season 3 how he assassinated red. But I hope they bring in season four because I’m working during what will happen to Mary and Bob Lee sister in law and if Bob Lee will be at home or going with phenoix with Isaac and nadien so that’s my thoughts. I just hope they keep the show going!!!!!
I can’t understand why shooter was cancelled!! Hope Netflix keeps it going. Sad to see it go !!! Please bring it back!

There needs to be a season 4….. Shooter is right up there with 24. Just when you think there is no more that can be explored, Shooter prevails again with great story lines and added twists…. please please please
And oh, the filming and different slow action sequences, totally adds to its awesomeness!! I thought Ryan was a “has been” but damn, his character is on point on so many levels!!
I was abit skeptical about the series…before watching it thinking it was a knock off of the movie.but I actually sat down and started watching and I’m hooked I love it. It has everything you could want.and keeps you hanging on the seat wanting to see more. The actors do an awesome job.i really hope there is a season 4. One season with bad ratings shouldnt be the decision to halt the 4th.ive finished all seasons and I’m very curious to know how the 4th will go..I was heart broken at the end of the 3rd season.please give the 4th… Read more »
Totally agree, they seem to have so little patience with shows these days.
Almost all of my favourite shows get cancelled. Almost makes me not want to watch new ones, as you always have the feeling that they could end prematurely for no real reason other than ratings (which are based on an awful lot more than whether a show is loved or not, ie. bad promo, lack of word of mouth, etc). Eventually all we will have is bland, boring programs that fit the mainstream at this rate. Such a shame.
