What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Hulu paid subscription platform, Shut Eye stars Jeffrey Donovan, KaDee Strickland, Angus Sampson, Susan Misner, Isabella Rossellini, Dylan Schmid, David Zayas, Havana Guppy, and Layla Alizada. The story centers on Charlie Haverford (Donovan). A failed magician, Charlie is a con artist who manages some storefront fortune-telling parlors. He and his wife, Linda (Strickland), long to get out from under the thumb of the Marks family, which controls most of the operations in Los Angeles. After Charlie gets hit on the head, he begins experiencing visions of the future. Now, he’s trying to keep from losing his mind, as he pursues a clean break for himself and his family
On January 30, 2018, Shut Eye was cancelled so there won’t be a third season. Could it be revived some day? Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Unless they decide to publicize its viewership, we’d need a bona fide clairvoyant to predict whether Hulu will cancel or renew Shut Eye for a second season. While I still need to hone my “cold read” skills, I can foresee this oddball drama scoring a season three renewal. That’s just speculation, though. Since I can’t foretell the future, I’ll keep an eye on the trades and update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for free alerts on any Shut Eye cancellation or renewal news.

I LOVE this show…PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE RENEW A 3rd season…I haven’t found a new “supernatural” in a long time…Although this show isn’t about vampires, werewolves and monsters of sort, it does have GYPSIES, MIND & PALM READERS and the SPEAKING UNIVERSE..there is plenty of crime bosses, rip off artists, sexual tensions and murder… With all the Actors I love…Especially Jeffrey Donovan who I knew from “BURN NOTICE” (WHICH I LOVED). Ive waited for him to pop up again…Good choice guys! It’s a fun show…I’ve watched both seasons and did it 3 Days..lol…GREAT SHOW…I knew it was gonna a good show…But… Read more »
