CROWN MEDIA FAMILY NETWORKS ANNOUNCES ‘SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED’ FROM MARTHA WILLIAMSON, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER OF ‘TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL,’ MOVES TO HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES WITH NEW EXTENDED FORMAT
Franchise to Include Multiple 2-Hour Original Movies; First Film, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas,” Premieres November 23
Crown Media Family Networks announced today that Hallmark Channel original weekly scripted series, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” executive produced and written by Martha Williamson (Executive Producer of “Touched by an Angel”), will move to sister network Hallmark Movies & Mysteries as a movie franchise consisting of a series of two-hour original films. Debuting on November 23 at 9pm ET/PT, 8C, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas” will be the first movie in the franchise, with three more slated for 2015.
“We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Martha Williamson and to bring her brand of rich and poignant stories to viewers on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries,” said Michelle Vicary, executive vice president, programming and network publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. “At their core, the narratives on ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ revolve around mystery and suspense, with compelling characters and dramatic storylines that will be enhanced by an extended format.”
“When Bill Abbott and Michelle Vicary asked if I can evolve the ‘Signed Sealed Delivered’ franchise into a series of movies, I was honored to continue the Hallmark tradition of quality family movies,” said series Creator and Executive Producer Martha Williamson. “At the heart of ‘Signed Sealed Delivered’ is Oliver, a modern day gentleman with old world values played brilliantly by Eric Mabius,” she added. “He and his wonderful team of postal detectives will continue to surprise us and sometimes make us laugh as they work to solve mysteries behind letters, even mysteries of life.”
Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will introduce viewers to the “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” franchise by airing a marathon of the series on Saturday, October 11 from 11am – 11pm ET/PT, 10C.
Returning as the “POstables,” Oliver O’Toole (Eric Mabius, “Ugly Betty”), Shane McInerney (Kristin Booth, “Orphan Black”), Rita Haywith (Crystal Lowe, “Smallville”) and Norman Dorman (Geoff Gustafson “Primeval: New World”) will take millions of viewers on new adventures as they uncover the mysteries of lost missives and return them to their intended recipients, profoundly changing lives in the process.
“Signed, Sealed, Delivered” is a comedic drama that follows the lives of a group of postal workers who transform themselves into an untraditional team of detectives to track down intended recipients of undeliverable mail. Their missions take them out of the office into an unpredictable world where redirected letters and packages can save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves and change futures by arriving late but somehow on time.
“Signed, Sealed, Delivered” is a Muse Entertainment production in association with MoonWater Productions. Executive Producers are Martha Williamson (“Touched by an Angel”), Joel S. Rice (“Cyberbully”) and Michael Prupas (“The Kennedys”). Harvey Kahn (“The Haunting Hour”) is the producer.

ABOUT MARTHA WILLIAMSON
Martha Williamson made television history when her CBS series “Touched By An Angel” set a new standard for an inspirational family drama when it grew to a weekly audience of 25 million viewers during its initial nine year run. As Executive Producer of the ground-breaking series, she was the visionary who guided the series into previously uncharted territory with her unique brand of storytelling that produced more than strong ratings; it changed lives. Murray Responsibility in Television Award, the Templeton Prize Epiphany Award and nine Emmy(R) nominations.
What do you think? Is this a good move? Would you prefer that it continue as a weekly series or are you okay with a series of movies instead?
This show was one of the best shows on television. I looked forward to watching it every week. I will miss it not being on weekly. This show was something the whole family could watch all the way down to my Grandchildren. They loved it also. It is hard to find good shows that you can watch every week. The only good thing is we will at least get to see it once a month if we can find out when its on. Can’t say enough good about this show and all its characters. One of a kind and the… Read more »
wish the show would be on weekly so many people i know r watching it and loving it
I love the Signed Sealed delivered stories. I saw the Christmas one last year and loved it. I always wanted to know more about the characters. It wasn’t until recently that I realized it was a series. I’ve watched every single one and then the movies. I can’t get enough of these characters and the storyline! I need more! I love the 2hr format, but would also like to see them more often! If anything watching a movie per month would be wonderful! All I know is we need more!
We just recently are able to receive the Hallmark channel with the movies & mysteries. We absolutely love the Garage Sale Mysteries and the Signed. Sealed, Delivered movies. We are hoping to see more of them. The Signed, Sealed, Delivered is a wonderful concept….we watched the one last night regarding rescuing the mother from Afghanistan….wonderful!! We have only been able to see 3 of them….we are looking forward to the Christmas one!
I love these shows and wish I could watch them all again, from the original movie to the Impossible Dream.
Thank you for each and every episode of the series, Signed, Sealed and Delivered. Every single one of them has touched my heart. The last one, however, The Impossible Dream, rocked my soul. I laughed at the funny, of course, but I also found myself crying nearly from beginning to end. This story is powerful. It speaks to my heart. Having lost my husband who was retired military, I have a deep appreciation for the bravery and amazing constitution of military personnel and their families. Well done. Whether it is going to be a weekly series, or a two hour… Read more »
Please keep the show on as weekly or as a 2 hour special…GREAT ENTERTAINMENT 🙂
I so love this show so how ever I get to see it I am grateful!
I think the movies left off at a great place to have a series pick up from.
Don’t get rid of it Hallmark, Signed Sealed Delivered is to good.
The movie series Signed, Sealed, Delivered is delightful and full of richness in entertainment. The cast members are perfect, especially Eric and Kristen. I would really like to see this series a weekly series on Hallmark. Thank you for providing such high class entertainment. It’s the only place on TV where families can enjoy good entertainment.
No I don’t think it is!
Some people in my family, including my husband & I, really enjoyed watching!!
When season 1 ended, we were all really looking Forward to the next season.
Then suddenly Hallmark announcing that they decided to (move) Signed, Sealed & Delivered to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries!!
That is a Problem because Bright house Cable charges an [Extra charge] for that station!!!
That would a really big expense to the already high cost of Cable!!!
That should have considered! Especially moving the series already where it was readily available to now a Premium channel
It was a wonderful series this evening, with the showing of three of them. How i wish they would have continued the way it was so we would watch it every week……….even if it is on a channel that most can’t obtain, maybe they would be able to get it thru some other vehicle. I don’t like just 3 new shows a year.

I love Signed, Sealed Delivered and wish it was a weekly series. It seems with being 2 hour movies it’s over before you know it and you have to wait a long while time before it resumes. I feel the same about Good Witch. These movies are just wonderful not only for adults, but for the entire family. Please keep them coming no matter as movies or weekly series.
Thank you for such wonderful entertainment.

I love this show I dont know why tv Execs have to mess with good shows. Not enough blood and guts. People can get that anywhere on tv. But good shows like ” signed seslef delivered” they have to mess with. I wish it WAS weekly series
I really enjoy this show wish it were still on as a show. Fun humor and human interest stories and very romantic. Thanks for the show, wish there were more coming.
