What do you think? Are you a fan of Minnie Driver? Will you watch Speechless?
A MUST see!
As an expert in the field of Alternative Communication I am curious why this very smart young man portrayed in this show is using a manual board with a laser pointer? This makes him reliant on others to read what he is saying. In this day and age there are so many devices where he could be totally independent. Why was this chosen? Is it based on a true story?
CAN’T WAIT!!! We have a daughter with Rett syndrome, and this was like a page from my life- down to the speeding/police! I showed the trailer to my 12 yr old son, and he said he wanted to watch it. “A show about us, mom.”
Absolutely we need a series about special needs kids. We are long overdue. Love Minnie Driver!
Heck yeah!
I can’t wait I’m still laughing. I’m programing my tv’s and dvr so I won’t miss an episode.
I have a 17 year old son with cerebral palsy and so much of this show reminds me of our life (my son has his own way of giving the finger also)!! I am super excited to watch this show and I think it’s awesome that ABC is airing a show like this!!
OMG!!! I can NOT wait!!! Hilarious!!!!
