The story of the young “star-crossed” lovers is coming to a close. The CW has cancelled Star-Crossed after one season of 13 episodes.
Star-Crossed revolves around a pair of teens — one human (Aimee Teegarden) and one alien (Matt Lanter) — who fall in love and struggle to overcome the discrimination and distrust around them. The rest of the cast includes Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin Jr., Chelsea Gilligan, Brina Palencia, and Greg Finley.
The series debuted as a mid-season replacement and never took hold in the ratings. The premiere drew a lackluster 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo with 1.28 million viewers. Subsequent episodes performed even worse, making Star-Crossed one of the network’s lowest-rated shows.
There are just 13 episodes in the season and the finale, titled “Passion Lends Them Power,” will air next Monday night.

Star crossed was an amazing show,and everyone loved it where I live (in England) I am absolutely devostated that it is cancelled and I am now boycotting all shows produced by the CW network. This has happend to me before when I was watching an ABC production “10 things I hate about you” and it was cancelled just as things were getting good!!
I can NOT believe this was canceled after just one season, I personally LOVE the show and I’m 51 yrs old, im sure the younger population loved it too. What a shame, totally DISAPPOINTEDLY, why not run the series instead of all the re-runs of older shows.
I’m sad because there’s no season 2. Season 1 finale episode was SOO exciting. I’m from Finland.

Cancelling star crossed is like ripping my heart out. Please do continue it? This is one of the best and unforgettable TV show I’ve ever watched, even my friends and families kept asking me for more episode. We are begging you PLEASE! put it back on.

I’ve been looking up Star crossed just to find out its never coming on again. Why take off a good show when there are many show on CW that are not even half as good as Star CROSSED. People come on now and put it back on the air. Please.

I can´t understand why cw always cancel the good shows after just one season. I hope that they willl continue Star-Crossed, cause it´s an amazing Show, I really love it and the ending is just not enough and satisfying… PLEASE air season two.
