The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

I love star I tune in every Wednesday to watch I am sure there are lot of people who watch season 4 if it was not cancelled.i am upset because that show I really could relate to in a way

Dude I’m so devastated, this show is the only reason why I watch tv, and when they are always confident in themself , Alex, Simone and star, it motivates me idk how but it does. I literally cried when I saw that it was cancelled and still till this day. My hearts completely shattered I loved this show , can’t believe they ended it like that!!! We need star!!!
Please do not cancelled before you tie up the loose ends. We deserve to know what happen to everyone. Star is a very good show. One of the best shows that is out there. I just cant believe you will cancel it. Just UNBELIEVEABLE

This is ridiculous. It definitely shouldn’t be canceled ratings may be down, but based on small percentage. A lot of people are watching on apps or later on dvr. I’m highly disappointed in the network. This is not the 1st show they’ve canceled that shouldn’t have been. Hopefully the fans win out.
I watch Star faithfully and I think it sucks that they are ending it the way they are.
