The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

Well after FOX cancelled my 2 favorite shows, EMPIRE and STAR….which I watched faithfully, I will no longer watch ANY SHOWS on FOX. Such disregard for viewers. I will not support FOX any longer.
This has got to be FAKE NEWS! Noway in he//! The show had every component needed to be successful. Every episode kept you in suspense and anticipating the next episode. How could this have happened? Whelp Lee Daniel’s better hit up Dame and get this show on DDTV ASAP! Sincerely a patiently waiting STAR fan.

Why? Why cancel such a big TV show hit? I would love to watch the continuing season and every episode that comes with it, and I’m sure I’m not the only fan or person out there that would agree. Ending season 3, and how everything was left off. That’s not cool, the heart break and wanting to know who survived and who did not. What everyone family and love ones are going to do next. I am absolutely pissed they cancelled star as a loyal fan how are yall just going to end season 3 the way it is and not have anymore seasons this absolutely inferiates me!! I want a season 4 of my girls i love star!!
Why would you cancel such a good show have you lost your mind? Someone is hoing to pick it up and when they do I hope you guys realize how much money you lost!
Also, you need to put Star back on T.V., If the show not back on by the time Empire comes back then **** your channel I will not come back to watch your channel.
I don’t understand why the hell you had to cancel Star. But I know that is wrong and fucked up that you had to make a decision to cancel star. the rating for season 3 I understand a little why you had to cancel star. but I definitely don’t understand the main reason why you had to cancel star. This was my favorite show. If you renew Empire, then you have to renew star for the 4th season too. That is wrong and this is crazy. You need to put Star back on T.V.

I can’t believe FOX is cancelling out Star wtf… I love the show and wish if they had their minds made up to at least have a 2hr finale and not leave the fans with a serious cliffhanger like not cool. This is why I don’t watch FOX cause they have shows and then it’s gone as quick as it aired. I only watched FOX for Star and I’m sure a lot of ppl feel the same.
They need to not cancel this show. How can they leave you hanging like that after the season 3 finale?? I binged watched his show. I loved it! It gave the message that anything is possible in life no matter what you go through as long as you fight for what you believe. Very upset about the cancellation

Please don’t cancel star, that is the only show that I watch faithfully every week and to end it like that is absolutely crazy. If y’all are going to cancel it you should at least have ended it where all the fans can have closure.
