The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

I really enjoyed watching it. There not much I watch and I looked forward to watching it. Such a sad thing to see it get canceled.
That’s really messed up that they cancelled star. I love the show so much that I have binged watched those 3 seasons so many times i have just about all of their songs on my mixboxer playlist. So I’m constantly watching their videos. How can you cancel star and keep empire. Please bring it back. I know I’m not the only one that feels this way. And by the way I’m 56 years old and I love it

Wow, one of FOX best shows and cancelled in the middle of a story. So many cliff hangers just hanging there. And yet this is why I normally don’t tune into FOX channel, every time I find something I’m actually into…. it gets cancelled. Ugh.
