While not cancelled, Steve Harvey’s daytime talkshow, Steve Harvey is ending after the current fifth season wraps up in May. Deadline reports the comedian’s contract with the show’s producer, EndemolShine North America, ends in 2017.
Harvey is developing a new daytime show with IMG. NBCUniversal Domestic Television, which handles the current show, will also distribute the new show.

While the Steve Harvey show shoots in Chicago, the new program will be produced in Los Angeles. The news outlet expects it to be more “celebrity-driven.”

I hate that his show is not renewing. But, I am so glad that he is launching a new one! I love Steve Harvey! He is such a wonderful comedian with a heart of gold. I will be looking forward for his new show!
Not thrilled with or sure I will engage in viewing Steve Harvey Show under upcoming format. Reminds me of late night TV which has always been celebrity driven. I connect with the stories surrounding and/or celebrating everyday people. I enjoy watching “common folk” receive their 15 min of fame but find myself less interested in the “celebs” latest project. Will truly miss Ask Steve which mixes stand up flavor with interesting advice, his Chief Love Officer/CLO segments, Harvey’s Heroes and Marjorie and the family. Just One More Thing… Good Luck Steve.
I totally agree with Jay on this one: I too couldn’t care less about celebs and their lives or projects. Too bad people live their lives vicariously through them. If the new format is like all the other talk shows, I will probably not watch it.

I depend on Steve Harvey everyday to make me laugh. I need this show. He is spread way too thin with other shows, meaning he had to fail. You will not be able to replace his show at all. The convinient three pm show, has been great. Other network programing time changes ended him. Why anyone wants to watch Ellen or Product pushing Dr. Oz is of low intellect. Ellen is a shark. Why did you allow him to fail? Oh yes, money.
Sue my mother and I before she passed would watch him at 3 from our home in AZ and after her death I move back to Ohio and there he was again at 3 I agree with you so convenient. I did find his game ( mobile) last week when I google Ask Steve it’s on both Apple and Android ..Ask Steve Harvey the game
I have been to the current Steve Harvey Show once and I am a big fan. I think the new concept for his show next year is great! He is moving toward more of an Oprah type platform which will be wonderful. I think his current show although still entertaining has had a good run and a new approach geared toward celebs will be welcomed and a great success.
Sorry to see you leave the Chicago area. We look forward to coming to the tapings, I have attended 9 tapings which 3 have been within the last 2 months. My daughter Brandi has been on ask Steve a question, she has attended 5 tapings. We travel by train which takes 4 hours each way, we won’t be able to attend your new show since your moving it to California. We wish you the best in your upcoming endeavor.
Wow so glad I found this forum right now I am in Canada, and I was looking for his show I have also been to the show taping. My friend sent her Ask Steve in on his birthday, and she was chosen. I watch the show with my niece subtle teaching about boys wanting the cookie. 🙂 I was thrilled when I found his new game Ask Steve Harvey in the game sections of the App store. The game Ask Steve lets you be Steve Answering other people’s questions, and you get to submit your own questions

I have at least 8 recorded to catch up on, hate when I miss any!! I tell everyone about his show!! OMG the show he did showing the Apollo with Bernie Mac & the tribute to his Family made me cry!! You can still catch his advice in the mobile game Ask Steve Harvey. I wish I could load pictures here I have the game on my phone. I had it on my iPhone but I just got an Android and I download and it played the same
I watch his show for the feel good stories, like Harvey’s Heros and Good News. I don’t particularly care for his celebrity interviews. I record every one of his shows and watch everyone. I can usually just fast forward past the celebrities. I like the everyday people.

I absolutely a fan of steve Harvey’s and have been for many years. I will definitely watch any of his programs for I am motivated by everything he says
I hope that means you can also think on your own and not be controlled by everything celebrities say. They’re not right about everything in the world.
I really enjoy the Steve Harvey show He heart for the people is awesome. I will watch it only because of who he is. I believe the devil trying to get him off track because people are envy of his program and they are helping people. However I will pray and see
